• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Sales Engineers. • Provide technical leadership and resource management for the team's sales pipeline. • Define and track team goals, metrics, and reporting to align with sales objectives. • Act as the primary technical escalation point for your team and customers. • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering leadership to drive strategic initiatives. • Develop and standardize sales engineering processes, tools, and materials. • Recruit, hire, and onboard new members of the Sales Engineering team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of AppSec experience, with at least 5 years in a customer-facing sales engineering role.
- 2+ years of leadership or mentorship experience within a technical team.
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions, including at the code-level (Java/.NET preferred).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Expert knowledge of the SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and modern cloud/container technologies (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Deep understanding of the application security landscape (SAST, DAST, IAST, RASP) and competitors.
- Ability to travel up to 40% as needed.
