NuORDER by Lightspeed is looking for a Data Integration Specialist to join our Service Delivery team in Canada! In this role, you will be responsible for driving the successful development of solution infrastructure and the completion of data integration projects that automate the flow of data between NuORDER and other systems, or that customize the NuOrder purchasing workflow. You will be expected to work according to the EST timezone. Please note that this position can be fully remote. What you’ll be doing: - Writing timely responses to clients regarding their open issues, updating internal documentation and creating external resources for our clients to self-serve - Actively staying up to date with the newest features of the NuORDER platform, enhancements to its middleware, and advocating for changes to drive both the platform and its tools forward - Troubleshooting customer issues in an effort to discover what solution would be the best fit for a client’s needs - Managing multiple integration projects in a customer-facing capacity as well as performing any updates to mapping, formatting or other conditional logic - Creating, updating, and maintaining integrations using ETL and data integration technologies across a variety of data sources - Leading scoping calls with clients in an effort to discover alternative workflows, highlight changes, and gather technical specifications that directly address a client’s data needs - Working cross-functionally to deliver projects, find solutions, and support larger integration initiatives We’re creative, innovative, and helping businesses become more efficient. • Translate business requirements into robust & performant data pipelines with appropriate ETL/ELT and monitoring/logging steps for a wide variety of data sources, such as Databricks Unity Catalog, SAP HANA, Microsoft SSAS, Azure SQL Server, Oracle, Parquet, APIs, Excel & CSVs. • Lead and mentor others in advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis. • Independently perform and document requirements, business logic, impact assessment, and technical documentation to maintain and troubleshoot key systems and data assets. • Lead discussions with cross-divisional Stryker peers to collaboratively harness domain expertise and emerging capabilities to drive impact. • Provide helpful insights in discussions to identify opportunities in data architecture and data movement that enable business opportunities with key stakeholders. • Lead and deliver presentations and communications that build data engineering credibility and rapport to a medium-sized group, with some guidance.

• Lead the development and implementation of our data engineering strategy, architecture roadmap, and technical standards. • Oversee the design and evolution of our data ecosystem utilizing Data Vault methodologies and Data Mesh principles. • Establish governance and quality frameworks across Bronze (raw), Silver (transformed), and Gold (consumption-ready) data layers. • Partner with Product Management to align data platform capabilities with business objectives and market demands. • Provide technical leadership and oversight for the data engineering team. • Oversee the design and implementation of Snowflake data architecture including warehousing, marts, and access patterns. • Direct the development of robust ETL/ELT processes using Matillion and other modern data integration tools. • Guide the implementation of data quality monitoring, lineage tracking, and metadata management. • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team.
