Position Location - This role is available in Latam. Time Zone Requirements - This team operates on the East/West Coast time zones. How you’ll make an impact: - Report to our Sr. Director of QA - Work with development teams to design, execute and report on performance testing strategies for new features during SDLC - Design & Develop automated tests for nightly and pre-release performance and scalability pipelines - Work with other Performance Engineer & Solution Architects to develop performant and scalable platform architecture - Investigate high severity defects related to performance or system resources - Build tests to exercise and measure front end performance What we’re looking for: Minimum requirements: - 3+ years in Performance Testing / QA role, experience with performance testing to identify system bottlenecks - Strong technical background in performance, load, and scalability testing methodologies - Experience front-end and back-end performance & load testing SAAS platforms - Solid understanding of API testing with REST/ GraphQL based frameworks - Strong working knowledge of Javascript test frameworks such as Jmeter, Cypress; Playwright, CodeceptJS & k6 preferred - Strong working knowledge of Git, including creating and managing Github Actions pipelines - Experience with APM tools such as New Relic, Grafana, etc. - Excellent communication skills, and ability to train / mentor others - Proven ability to understand system and database (NoSQL, MongoDB and etc.) performance - Working understanding of hosted cloud services AWS / Azure / GCP - Strong sense of ownership for your work - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously What you’ll love: - USA Contractor - 100% Remote - Holidays Off - Paid Time Off - Health insurance assistance program. - Competitive Pay (USD) - Excellent teamwork and work environment - Training

• Test web and mobile applications using all available methods (including automated regression suites, API validation, and exploratory testing of the app) • Perform risk-based exploratory testing to identify critical defects beyond scripted checks, ensuring testing efforts are prioritized where they matter most. • Design, maintain, and improve automated test scripts in Playwright and Python. • Analyze the product and its business and technical requirements to design high-value test scenarios and scripts that form the foundation for robust automation. • Perform API testing with Postman, including automated API test execution. • Collaborate with developers and product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. • Support CI/CD testing processes (GitLab CI). • Report and track defects using Jira and document findings in Confluence. • Participate in the adoption and daily use of AI testing tools (e.g., for test creation and defect analysis). • Contribute to improving QA processes and share knowledge with the team.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for modernized Python and AWS-based applications (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, EventBridge, etc.) • Validate application behavior across the full modernization lifecycle, including system integration, data migration integrity, performance, regression, and stress testing • Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure test coverage aligns with enterprise engineering and modernization standards • Implement automated test suites for APIs, data processes, and serverless workflows • Identify risks, defects, and gaps during migration efforts and document them clearly with actionable recommendations • Verify data migration tools, processes, and outputs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance • Participate in reviews of requirements, architecture documents, and code to ensure testability and alignment with quality standards • Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes across legacy and cloud-native components • Ensure all QA documentation is complete, traceable, and ready for handoff to core engineering and operations teams • Track and report testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders • Stay current with QA best practices, testing tools, and cloud testing strategies, recommending improvements to enhance quality and efficiency
