We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong backend focus to build and scale a platform centered around APIs, event-driven systems, and cloud infrastructure. The role includes some frontend exposure, but the primary focus is backend architecture and services.
Job Requirements
- Must-Have:
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 4+ years of production experience with Node.js and NestJS
- Strong experience designing and working with PostgreSQL databases
- Experience with Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms
- Solid working knowledge of AWS services (S3, SQS, DLQs, CloudWatch)
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs
- Experience with event-driven architectures and queue-based systems
- Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Next.js and React
- Experience integrating AI/ML services or APIs
- Experience working in startup environments (fast-paced, high ownership)
