About the Job Red Hat Engineering is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Telco 5G Platform team. You will be part of a team responsible for designing and implementing the container platform for 5G telecommunication networks, contributing to industry-leading technologies in the Kubernetes and Telecom ecosystem, for example CNCF projects, and ORAN. You will be working on industry-leading projects and technologies and breaking new ground. As a part of a geographically distributed team, you will collaborate with multiple Red Hat engineering teams and open source communities around the globe. What You Will Do - Bring Telecom High Availability and small footprint concepts to the CNF platform, enabling 5G vRAN deployments - Play an active role and contribute to multiple open source projects and communities like Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, Open vSwitch (OVS), and Open Virtual Network (OVN) - Troubleshoot, analyze bug root causes and provide resolutions - Review design, enhancement proposals and patches from other members - System level engineering and design for performance - Work with the quality engineering team (QE) to ensure effective and complete test coverage - Define, contribute to and collaborate on new system architectures. - Publicize the team's work through blogs, web postings, or conference talks - Work across product teams to influence future directions What You Will Bring - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent working experience - 2+ years of experience in a Linux environment with at least one of the following languages: Golang, Python, Java, or C/C++ - Good knowledge of Linux Kernel internals and architecture - Ability to work with Linux Kernel developers to debug and resolve issues - Comfortable working on large multidisciplinary problems and bringing together a diverse set of technical options to a clear path forward - Experience with Linux system programming in a distributed telecom environment - Multi-threaded programming and management of shared resources in complex environments - Ability to quickly learn new technologies - Good written and verbal communication skills in English The following are considered a plus - Experience with virtualization technologies (QEMU, KVM, etc) - Experience with Real Time Linux - Experience with container related technologies (docker, cri-o, etcd) - Familiarity with the wider Kubernetes and CNCF project ecosystem - Leading or contributing to open source communities - Previous code contributions to or participation in open source projects or code samples on GitHub - You’re willing to wear a lot of red or a red hat - Latency sensitive workload tuning (IEQ lines, CPU pinning, NUMA affinity, etc.) - System and performance engineering analysis and a proven track record of unlocking performance in constrained environments - Linux networking or SDN related development contribution #LI-EK1 The salary range for this position is $96,440.00 - $154,190.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications. Pay Transparency Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. • Demonstrate Gremlin in customer calls and webinars • Partner with sales team to drive technical wins and grow Gremlin’s customer base • Participate and lead proof-of-concepts with potential customers • Educate potential customers on Reliability and Chaos Engineering • Work with existing customers on technical projects and assist in troubleshooting • Consult with customers on the resiliency of their applications and architecture, diagnose gaps and recommend solutions • Participate in technical workshops and conferences • Collaborate with different functions of the company including Product Marketing, Support, and Engineering

• Act as a hands-on builder and trusted technical partner for customers. • Own the design and delivery of integrations, automations, and AI-powered workflows. • Partner with sales, product, and operations on discovery calls, workshops, and design sessions. • Translate customer business problems into technical architectures, workflows, and integration roadmaps. • Act as a technical champion during onboarding, removing blockers and guiding implementations. • Rapidly prototype integrations, automations, or agent workflows to validate fit and feasibility. • Move prototypes into production-level code, collaborating with engineering on scalability, testing, monitoring, and reliability. • Build and maintain SDKs, API clients, connectors, and middleware for customer systems. • Capture customer feedback and clearly articulate it to product & engineering for roadmap prioritization.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, particularly related to healthcare data analytics. • Analyze healthcare data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform solution design and performance improvements. • Lead and support the implementation of healthcare IT solutions, ensuring successful deployment and integration. • Partner with clients to assess needs, define requirements, and customize solutions aligned with their goals and operational workflows. • Deliver knowledge transfer and training sessions to end-users, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of technology solutions. • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting, resolving client issues in a timely and efficient manner. • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, escalations, and feedback, coordinating with internal teams to drive resolution and continuous improvement. • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization to enhance client satisfaction and maximize value delivery.
