QA Engineer – Azure, PowerShell

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test procedures • Perform functional, regression, and scenario‑based testing across system updates and deployments • Validate software behavior across hybrid and on‑premises/cloud environments • Test system modifications and enhancements prior to implementation or release • Identify, analyze, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system • Clearly communicate defects, test results, and risk assessments to engineering stakeholders • Monitor defect resolution efforts and verify fixes through retesting • Maintain documentation and databases of known defects, test results, and quality metrics • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and customer scenarios • Plan and manage testing schedules aligned with project scope, priorities, and delivery timelines • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and strategies
Job Requirements
- Associate’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test engineering
- Proven experience designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Strong experience creating test documentation, including test plans and test results reports
- Demonstrated ability to analyze test results and provide actionable recommendations
- Experience tracking and managing defects through established bug tracking systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Consistent employment history demonstrating stability and long‑term role commitment
