This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between design and Analysis utilizing the Analysis applications to validate the aero structure parts. Role Requirements: This specific role within the Airframe / Structures Analysis team, Stress analysis of metallic aircraft structures using hand calculations using Analysis applications. Your Profile - Stress analysis of metallic aircraft structures using hand calculations, ISAMI, GFEM and DFEMs. - Knowledge of static and fatigue design values (Ftu, Fty, Fcy, AFI parameters, S-N curve parameters, fracture toughness etc.,). - Calculation of Seq stresses (fatigue and crack propagation), understanding of mission profiles, stress files, FESPS databases. - Calculation of Fatigue life using the AFI method. - Calculation of Stress concentration (Kt) values using Petersons' or DFEM or ISAMI modules. - Knowledge of ISAMI modules (Fatigue Spectrum Analysis (1D & 2D), Lug analysis) - knowledge of structural design principles, aircraft loads and Airbus fatigue manuals.
