Financial Analyst
Momentive Software
• Own corporate financial reporting and forecasts under supervision and help drive improvements to the process • Analyze financial data to identify trends and surface insights, not just report the numbers • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc strategic analysis • Conduct variance analysis and drive improvement to forecasting tools • Collaborate with business leaders to gather, validate, and interpret financial data
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, or a related role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with month-end close reporting and budget/forecast cycles
- Knowledge of GAAP and its application in financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills – XLOOKUP, SUMPRODUCT, PowerPivot, etc. (Nice to Haves)
- Experience with Pigment, Adaptive Planning, or other financial planning tools (Nice to Haves)
- Exposure to SaaS metrics (ARR, Churn, NRR/GRR, CAC/LTV, etc.) (Nice to Haves)

• Financial planning & controlling: You will develop and automate financial plans, forecasts and cash-flow models to transparently manage our liquidity. You provide management with precise analyses using a report-by-exception approach and actively support the monthly S&OP process. • Accounts receivable management & payment reconciliation: You are responsible for end-to-end reconciliation between Amazon, Shopify, payment service providers (e.g., Mollie, Klarna, PayPal) and DATEV. You systematically resolve payment discrepancies and optimize interfaces between shop systems, ERP/merchandise management and accounting. • Financial close & compliance: You support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in close cooperation with our tax advisor and pursue an efficient "fast close". You ensure compliance with German Commercial Code (HGB) requirements and VAT rules for international distance sales (OSS). • Process optimization & scaling: You implement scalable finance processes that keep pace with our D2C and marketplace growth. You actively drive automation and efficiency improvements in the finance function.
