Technical Solutions Consultant
Buckland
Role Description This position is responsible for acting as the trusted partner between teams across Operations + Corporate Groups and the Technology Services Division to translate business and system needs into practical, scalable technical solutions. The Technical Solutions Consultant will focus on understanding internal business processes and transforming them into optimized, reliable, and sustainable systems that drive organizational performance. Qualifications - University Degree/College Diploma in Business Analysis, Project Management/IT Project Management, or relevant education in Business or Technology. - 1-3 years of experience in technical roles, customer service or support, preferably in logistics, brokerage, or SaaS environments. - Comfortable working with teams across Canada, the U.S.A, and Mexico; bilingual in Spanish or French is a plus. - Solid understanding of EDI systems, client portal, brokerage or other regulatory applications, data integrations, and reporting solutions. - Background in logistics, brokerage, or SaaS solutions is a strong asset. - Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, CRM software and the ability to quickly learn new applications. - Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times. - Valid Passport ability to occasionally travel if required to other office locations in CAD/USA/MEX. Requirements - Collaborate with internal teams to map workflows and identify automation opportunities. - Conduct end-to-end reviews to ensure solutions meet operational and reporting needs. - Translate business challenges into actionable technical requirements. - Develop and document system or process improvement requirements. - Recommend and implement tools that enhance data accuracy and usability. - Support testing, rollout, and validation of new internal solutions. - Partner with IT and Development to align delivery with operational needs. - Drive clean, accurate, and well-structured data across all systems. - Automate data flows and reduce manual effort through analytics collaboration. - Create documentation, SOPs, and dashboards to support adoption and scalability. - Champion continuous improvement through feedback, best practices, and iteration. - Support change management by helping teams adopt and adapt to new workflows confidently.
