Role Description We are seeking a Cyber Solutions Engineer who combines cybersecurity expertise with strong development skills to support both business growth and operational delivery. This role plays a critical part in designing and demonstrating technical solutions that showcase Harmonia’s capabilities to prospective customers while also building tools and automation that improve efficiency across active programs. The ideal candidate will work across growth, engineering, and proposal teams to develop proof-of-concept solutions, contribute to capture efforts, and help shape scalable, cloud-based cybersecurity architectures. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of cybersecurity engineering, innovation, and business growth, with direct impact on shaping solutions for federal customers. Responsibilities: - Develop proof-of-concept applications, demonstrations, and tools that showcase cybersecurity capabilities to prospective customers. - Build custom applications and automation solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance across existing projects. - Design technical cybersecurity solutions in collaboration with leadership and proposal teams to support new business opportunities. - Create reusable technical content and artifacts to support proposal development and future pursuits. - Review, proof, and edit technical proposal content to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with customer requirements. - Integrate applications with existing cybersecurity tools, APIs, and cloud platforms. - Develop and maintain cloud-based architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code solutions. - Apply secure development practices and cybersecurity best practices across all development activities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and business development staff, to deliver high-quality solutions. - Support customer engagements by providing technical insight and demonstrating cybersecurity capabilities. Qualifications - US citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance if needed. - Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience (8 years in lieu of a degree). - 6+ years of experience in a Cybersecurity Engineer role or similar that includes: - Full stack software development and automation (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Java, C#, PowerShell, bash, or similar languages). - Working experience with infrastructure as code and cloud platform (AWS, Azure). - Designing architectures for cloud-based, containerized applications. - Applying cybersecurity concepts in a federal context. - Designing or supporting technical solutions for cybersecurity projects. - Supporting cybersecurity at a federal agency. - Experience working directly with federal customers. - Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
