Commissioning Client Manager – Data Center

Olsson

• Serve as the primary client point of contact for data center commissioning programs or portfolios. • Partner with Project Managers and Commissioning leaders to support project execution, staffing strategies, and delivery planning. • Understand client standards, operational priorities, and long‑term programs to proactively support their needs. • Develop client‑specific communication plans and provide regular updates on project status and performance. • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts by introducing additional commissioning or lifecycle services. • Lead efforts with group leadership to secure repeat work through exceptional client service. • Manage client expectations, support issue resolution, and address concerns in coordination with internal leaders. • Incorporate client feedback to improve service delivery and internal processes. • Represent Olsson as a trusted advisor through clear communication and technical understanding.

Job Requirements

  • Strong client‑facing communication and relationship management skills.
  • Experience supporting complex projects—preferably within data centers, commissioning, or mission‑critical facilities.
  • Ability to translate technical activities into clear, client‑focused messaging.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of eight years of progressive client or project experience.
  • Familiarity with electrical and mechanical data center systems is strongly valued.
  • Willingness to occasionally support client meetings, site visits, or travel as needed.
