Role Description At Olsson, we help our clients in multiple states navigate complex historical and archaeological compliance landscapes with ease. We ensure proactive adherence to key historical preservation laws and regulations, including Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) review process. Our innovative methods empower clients to achieve project goals while preserving our historical heritage. Olsson is seeking candidates who meet the United States Secretary of Interior (SOI) Professional Qualifications Standards (36 CFR 61). The ideal candidate could be an archeologist or an architectural historian. This role is multifaceted and critical in ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal historical and archaeological preservation regulations while promoting sustainable projects. Primary Responsibilities: - Regulatory Compliance: Navigating complex federal, state, and local regulations, and attaining necessary permits and clearances - National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA): Developing necessary NHPA documentation, collaborating with agencies such as the lead federal agency, Native American tribes, state agencies, the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), USACE, and USFWS to obtain essential reviews and guidance, while coordinating a multidisciplinary team. - Field Investigations: Completing or coordinating fieldwork with Olsson staff or sub-consultants, including archaeological surveys, test excavations, and the documentation of above-ground historic resources such as buildings, roadways, bridges, and historic districts - Public Engagement and Outreach: Organizing public meetings and workshops to gather community input, shaping projects through feedback, and ensuring transparent communication of project details while effectively engaging stakeholders. Associate Mechanical Engineer – Federal Engineering and Design

• Provide small-scale mechanical design elements for federal engineering projects using fundamental knowledge, standard techniques, and established methods for small to mid-sized projects. • Perform basic plan production and receive direction on assigned tasks, including drafting and detailing mechanical components for construction documents. • Develop and apply knowledge and experience working within design/modeling software to support project deliverables. • Assist with preparation of project documentation and schedules; perform design calculations within a limited scope and under guidance of senior engineers. • Support mechanical system design and documentation for federal facilities, which may include HVAC and plumbing from concept through construction. • Assist with load calculations and mechanical system sizing; support development of design narratives and technical reporting as needed. • Coordinate with experienced engineers and designers on non-routine techniques and procedures; collaborate with other disciplines to support integrated design. • Gather research, recommend solutions, and create drafts of technical reports using prescribed methods and internal standards. • Mentor student interns by providing opportunities to develop foundational technical skills and knowledge; may supervise student staff as needed. • May travel and work in various terrains and weather conditions at project sites in different stages of construction.

Role Description As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will work directly with some of the world’s largest technology companies and other mission-critical clients. You will serve as an electrical engineer on projects, design calculations, write technical reports, and prepare documents. Experience in performing short circuit analysis and producing arc flash studies is required. You will also coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients. Role Description We are looking for a skilled and experienced NDT Level II Radiographer to join our expanding team in the Eastern Iowa region. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in Radiography. This role offers a great work-life balance and the opportunity to advance into a leadership position within the region. - Perform advanced-level special inspections, building inspections, and Non-Destructive testing work with direct collaboration with Olsson project managers and senior leaders. - Mentor the efforts of less-experienced staff. - Travel to various job sites and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.
