Empower Tutoring

We are looking for a passionate, experienced tutor who has a strong background in Mathematics and can tutor high school students in Grade 9-Grade 12. Candidates should be familiar with the Ontario high school curriculum, including Functions, Calculus, etc. Being able to tutor other high school subjects such as science is a bonus but not necessary. This position will be completely remote and all tutoring will be done online. Applicants should be currently enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor's Degree in a related field study OR your BEd. Tutoring Sessions Tutors can create their own schedules based on client preference and personal preference. Tutors can accept and decline tutoring opportunities but should be available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week.

Verify the reason as to why employees have zero hours worked and have employee(s) coded accordingly (i.e. LOA, termination, lack of work etc.). - Partner/communicate with the Leave Administrator on Leaves of Absence inquiries; forward escalations (i.e. terms) to the RHRM. - Send Welcome Emails to new hires. - Conduct New Hire Orientation. - Send Exit Interview Emails and conduct Exit Interviews providing details to the RHRM over the market. - Review Employee Report data modifications (reporting chain, title changes, location changes, transfers, and cost center changes etc.) and submit necessary changes to be processed. - Report and update responses for unemployment claims. - Provide exceptional customer service to internal customers by delivering timely and accurate guidance. - Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
