Job Description About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to help deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable products. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply technical, naturally curious, and skilled at finding how software can fail before customers do. You will play a key role in strengthening product quality through hands-on testing, automation, and AI-enabled quality engineering practices. What You’ll Do: - Design and execute test strategies across functional, integration, API, and - end-to-end testing. - Identify risks, edge cases, and failure points through strong exploratory and risk-based testing. - Build and maintain automated test coverage for regression, smoke, and critical user flows. - Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality validation. - Partner closely with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Security to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle. - Support defect triage, release readiness, and quality risk assessments. - Use AI tools to accelerate test creation, maintenance, analysis, and overall productivity. Qualifications What We’re Looking For: - 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or SDET-related roles. - Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. - Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. - Strong understanding of SDLC, test strategy, and Agile development practices. - Proven ability to uncover critical defects and improve quality through both manual and automated testing. - Experience leveraging AI tools to improve quality engineering efficiency and outcomes. Bonus Points For: - Experience with AI-driven testing tools. - Exposure to cloud-native environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Knowledge of performance testing tools. - Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, or payment platform testing. Fully Remote: This role has been designated as fully remote, meaning it is expected to be performed from a non-Versant, typically an employee’s residence. Occasional travel is required and can range from within the country (typical, various times of the year) to global (not typical but still possible). The Solar PV Field Testing Technician will be responsible for supporting field-based technical services throughout the lifecycle of solar PV projects, with a primary focus on on-site testing, verification, and data collection. The technician will also conduct basic reviews of collected data and reports to confirm alignment with field observations.
