Job Description

Full Stack Engineer, Climate & Packaging

Mondelēz International

• Act as the single point of accountability for all things technical in SAP RDP and other technologies in the Product: define vision/roadmap, prioritize backlog, own SLAs, and drive adoption across global and regional teams. • Gather and translate business requirements from Packaging, Sustainability, R&D, and Compliance stakeholders into functional specifications, enhancements, and configurations. • Oversee implementation, configuration, and integration of SAP RDP with SAP ecosystem (S/4HANA, Product Lifecycle Management, Business Technology Platform) and external data sources (e.g., regulatory intelligence feeds). • Lead incident, problem, and change management for SAP RDP and other products in the climate and packaging product portfolio: coordinate root cause analysis, vendor escalations (SAP/Accenture/partners), testing, and deployment of updates (including new AI-driven features for reporting accuracy). • Monitor solution performance, usage, and KPIs (e.g., fee reduction, compliance coverage, material optimization impact); partner with analytics teams for dashboards and insights. • Stay ahead of global regulatory changes (e.g., EU PPWR, expanding EPR in 200+ jurisdictions by 2030) and incorporate updates into the solution. • Manage vendor and partner relationships (SAP, Accenture, regulatory data providers); track licensing, support contracts, and renewals. • Contribute to strategic programs: align SAP RDP with Mondelēz’s broader sustainability targets, zero-waste ambitions, and digital transformation (RISE with SAP, cloud ERP). • Facilitate user training, change management, and continuous improvement to maximize user adoption and business value.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Sustainability or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years in IT solution ownership, application management, or product ownership — preferably with SAP solutions in sustainability, supply chain, or compliance domains.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Responsible Design and Production (SAP RDP) or similar EPR/sustainability tools (e.g., packaging compliance, circular economy platforms).
  • Strong understanding of global packaging regulations (EPR schemes, plastic taxes, PPWR, corporate sustainability reporting).
  • Experience in FMCG/CPG industry, with knowledge of packaging design, material science, or supply chain sustainability.
  • Familiarity with SAP ecosystem (S/4HANA, BTP, PLM, Analytics Cloud) and integration patterns.
  • Proven track record in agile methodologies, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration in a global matrix environment.
  • Experience implementing or owning SAP RDP or related SAP sustainability solutions.
  • Certifications: SAP-related (e.g., SAP BTP, Sustainability modules), ITIL, or sustainability credentials (e.g., Circular Economy, ISO 14001).
  • Knowledge of AI-driven features in modern SAP solutions for regulatory reporting and predictive insights.
  • Background in consumer goods packaging sustainability or regulatory compliance projects.
