Infrastructure Support Engineer

• Troubleshooting network issues. • Working in a team setting and making recommendations related to troubleshooting, device configuration, and documentation. • Resolving issues in a timely manner with a variety of different network devices, protocols, and reporting formats.

Job Requirements

  • Active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance required.
  • DoD Approved 8570 / 8140 OS and Cybersecurity certifications required.
  • Cisco Certification (CCNA or CCNP) preferred.
  • 6+ years’ relevant experience in supporting a large network infrastructure.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
  • A strong knowledge base with Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Virtual Private Network devices.
  • A good understanding of TCP/IP in regard to routing and subnetting.
  • Must be a team player that can work under pressure with good written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with the following Network protocols and services: Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP), Access Control Lists, Layer 2 Switching, Spanning Tree, and Packet Analysis.
  • Experience with Cisco Switches and Palo Alto Firewalls required.
  • A strong sense of urgency including self-governance on task priority.
  • Must be willing to work shifts to cover a 24x7 operational environment.
