As a Senior Context Engineer (Program Manager), you will play a key role in Dynatrace’s AI-first operating model. This is a new and evolving role, focused on designing and continuously improving the context layer that powers AI-driven content systems, self-service knowledge, and internal platforms. Working at the intersection of AI systems, technical documentation, and program execution, you ensure high-quality technical context can be reliably consumed by AI and scaled across teams. In close collaboration with senior technical leadership and stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Documentation, you translate strategic goals into structured, executable outcomes. - Responsible for building, managing, and maintaining the context layer for AI content systems. - Ensures alignment and effective collaboration from strategy through to execution, helping to achieve the goals set for Self-Service Knowledge. - Fosters planning and breaking down the “What” we want to solve into “How” to we need solve it. - Actively tracks and reports on execution progress. - Continuously optimizing, refining, and aligning processes related to value delivery. - Empowers Product Managers, Information Developers, and more. - Proactively identifies and escalates blockers. - Analyzes and assess program risks and issues and makes corrective measures. - Curates and enriches metadata across data assets, resolving semantic conflicts, and packaging context into formats that AI agents can use. - Connects stakeholders to ensure strategic implementation and completion of core roadmap items. - Shapes and implements guidelines and goals for technical writing across teams and channels. - Advocates for technical writing and documentation best practices throughout the company ensures self-service knowledge and technical content are prioritized and valued. - Coordinates efforts to improve content strategy, architecture, and documentation standards to ensure consistency and usability – all with an AI-first approach. What will help you succeed - 2+ years of AI experience in a B2B software product environment and 3+ years of experience aligned with technical writing. - Experience in defining and executing strategy and governance for software documentation. - You are a creative self-starter who can envision a future for enterprise software documentation above and beyond what we can do today. - Passion for devising enterprise-grade strategies and roadmaps for technical documentation. - You start with the “why” behind your strategy to motivate and inspire. - You understand docs-as-code and are itching to use new technologies (LLM, gen AI) to take our experience ecosystem to the next level and let content contributors focus on what they do best. - By leveraging your hands-on technical expertise, you draw insightful conclusions validated by customer analytics, ensuring consistent results amidst diverse contributors and stakeholders. - You excel in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, articulating your vision and plans - Are familiar with Markdown. - You understand software development lifecycles and have a strong architectural background. - You understand technical topics such as software intelligence, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, application security, and SaaS. - You enjoy sharing your knowledge and skills with other team members and learning from others. - You’re willing to push the envelope and engage stakeholders to try new things, balanced by a love of metrics that support your work.
