Genesys is seeking a strategic, revenue-driven Director, Content Strategy to lead the development and execution of a unified content strategy that supports our mission to power empathetic, AI-driven customer experiences at scale. Reporting to the VP, Content Marketing and Thought Leadership, this role will be central to scaling Genesys content as a measurable growth engine — driving AI authority, enterprise credibility, demand generation, and pipeline impact across priority industries, ICPs, and global campaigns. The ideal candidate brings deep B2B SaaS experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven ability to align content strategy to GTM motions in a complex, global organization. Key Responsibilities - Define and own the global content strategy aligned to business goals, GTM campaigns, and strategic initiatives - Create thematic messaging frameworks, content pillars, and editorial narratives that reinforce the Genesys value proposition across ICPs, personas, and verticals - Translate high-level strategy into campaign-ready content packages with a variety of assets across content types and channels - Partner closely with Product Marketing, Global Campaigns, Demand Generation, Brand, PR/Comms, and Sales to ensure alignment with GTM motions - Lead and mentor a high-performing global team of strategists, writers, and editorial contributors - Build and manage editorial content calendars for all major programs - Establish and track KPIs connecting content performance to engagement, pipeline, and revenue impact - Leverage analytics, audience insights, and AI tools to continually optimize content investment, formats, channels and overall efficacy Qualifications - 8+ years of B2B content marketing experience, including 5+ years of people management leadership - Experience in enterprise SaaS, cloud platforms, or customer experience/AI-led technology - Proven success aligning content strategy to global GTM campaigns and revenue objectives - Deep understanding of ICP development, buyer journeys, and enterprise sales cycles - Strong executive communication skills and ability to influence in matrixed organizations - Experience integrating AI narratives and innovation storytelling into enterprise-level content - Familiarity with performance-driven content optimization and AI-enabled content tools Compensation: This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
