Data Analyst Department: Product Management Employment Type: Full Time Location: India - Resident (0008) Reporting To: Anna Robinson Description The Product Operations team within Vena’s Product & Technology organization plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision making across product strategy & roadmap execution, customer adoption, and day-to-day departmental operations. As part of our continued investment in operational excellence and data quality, we are seeking a Data Analyst to improve and maintain the quality, accuracy, and documentation of our data to support reliable reporting, product insights, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities • Write and run refined SQL queries to check, clean, validate, and analyze data across multiple sources • Build, maintain and update Power BI dashboards and data quality reports • Identify data issues, inconsistencies, and root causes, and support solutions • Document key data sources, field definitions, transformations, and lineage • Support data governance practices, standards, and data quality monitoring • Contribute to workflows using DBT and Git to support version-controlled, well-structured data transformation processes • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business questions and translate them into reliable datasets and reporting outputs. • Apply best practices for reliable, well-structured analytical datasets • Other duties, as assigned Skills, Knowledge and Expertise - Strong knowledge of SQL - Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools - Attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and consistency - Familiarity with DBT and version control (Git) - Strong written and verbal communication - Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities. - Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn and adapt. - Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team - Interest in AI and willingness to explore AI-driven solutions to enhance performance and drive efficiencies Base salary range 1,304,913 - 1,765,471 INR *Our salaries are tailored to roles, levels and locations. Your individual pay within this range is influenced by factors like work location, skills, experience and education. As you progress in your role, your compensation may adapt, offering flexibility for growth beyond initial levels. The role continuously monitors the state of VMDR activities, identifies failures or deviations, and collaborates closely with SecOps Patching Engineers to drive remediation and operational improvement.
