Minimum Qualifications: - Relevant post-secondary education - Three (3) to Five (5) years previous experience in a Health, Safety & Environmental within a manufacturing environment - Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes and legislative requirements relating to OHSA, CSA, WSIB and the Environmental Protection Act. - Able to collaborate with workers and demonstrate leadership in placing safety as first priority - JHSC Certified member - ISO14001 & ISO 45001 knowledge - Computer literate: Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Excellent documentation, organizational & project management skills - Strong leadership & problem-solving skills - Ability to implement programs on a plant wide level - Practices and maintains integrity while following MSM's / MPT Charter and Employee Handbook. - Creates a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing functional / technical knowledge - Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal Vacancy: Immediate, Open Position Annual Compensation Range: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with accepted safety standards and applicable laws - Implement, coordinate & maintain ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 certification - Implement & maintain environmental programs, policies, and procedures considering EHS legislation and corporate policy - Perform environmental and Health & Safety training for all levels of the division, including orientation to new employees - Coordinate required inspections & audits; champion internal environmental auditing - Ensure the yearly NPRI, O.REG. 127-01 and TRA reporting documents are complete and ensure submission in a timely manner - Coordinate all annually required testing and monitoring such as storm/sanitary, air/noise, certificates of air, and any other applicable testing as required - Improve and maintain Health, Safety and Environmental standards to ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Environmental Protection Act and MSM's policies. - Review all accident, incident and near miss investigation reports and make suggestions to prevent recurrence. Aid in the development of corrective actions. - Manage Return to Work program and WSIB cases - Monitor new and revised legislation and remain current with the latest safety requirements. - Maintain WHMIS compliance at the Division, and SDS management - Provide the Ministry of Labour with documentation at their request, and accompany them on any plant audits. - Ensure compliance with the OH&SA in the approval process for new equipment, and existing equipment modifications based on priority scheduling. - Coordinate activity on ergonomics and 3R's Program. - Communicates test results with applicable departments - Maintain records of third party contracts relevant to health, safety and environmental issues and legislation. - Develop, implement, follow, enforce and maintain company guidelines, policies, procedures and work instructions as they relate to ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 issues. - Manage liquid and solid waste disposal, follow up on trends to reduce waste and ensure compliance. - Facilitate and actively participate in the monthly meetings such as Ergonomics, Energy/Sustainability/JHSEC, etc. - Continuous improvement responsibilities to enhance the HS/E management program. - Annually test and update where required the spill and evacuation procedures. - Prepare audit findings and distribute accordingly. - Coordinate and administrate hearing tests and pre- placement medical examinations as required. - Regular follow ups with all employees, shop floor walks, and inspections. Role Description As a Field Compliance Assistant, Nutrition Programs, you will play a critical role in supporting the integrity and quality of federally funded nutrition programs across Texas. This is a part-time, hourly position with extensive travel up to 90% throughout your assigned region. In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to program sites, ensuring compliance with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) requirements. You will conduct site visits, review documentation, provide coaching, and help strengthen program delivery on the ground.
