Project Manager - AI / Mining Datacenter

Role Description Bitdeer is seeking an accomplished Project Manager to help lead Alberta, Canada datacenter projects. You will be directly involved with datacenter expansion work, including leading Government approvals and readying for construction. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and budgeting to final execution, ensuring all projects are completed on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both construction management and previous Government interaction. This role reports to the General Manager of North America Datacenter Business and requires close collaboration with our global teams. - Project Leadership: Lead project planning, defining scope, developing detailed schedules, and establishing budgets in collaboration with clients, engineers, and leadership. - Contractor Management: Manage the full contractor lifecycle, including selection, contract negotiation, and supervision to ensure work adheres to quality standards and specifications. - Budget & Schedule Oversight: Proactively manage project risks, including budget deviations, schedule delays, and on-site emergencies, ensuring all safety standards and codes are met. - Communication & Reporting: Serve as the primary point of communication, providing regular project updates and budget reports to internal teams and executive leadership. - Relationship Management: Foster strong working relationships with internal cross-functional teams, contractors, and other external partners. - Performs other related duties as assigned.
