Role Description Drive process improvements and enhancements in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and direct procurement platforms. - Manage a team through the process of defining a roadmap, creating a strategy, and implementing a solution. - Design, implement, test, and deploy necessary components using the latest technologies and best practices. - Manage the selection of enterprise middleware platforms and frameworks for building integration assets to optimize for flexibility, long-term viability, and time to market. - Establish programming standards and program documentation requirements. - Review the current status of services and prepare recommendations for service improvements. - Manage, define, and govern middleware & integration architecture standards, tools, best practices, and development methodologies through the end-to-end life cycle. - Ensure effective enterprise IT infrastructure deployment and manage consolidation of disparate solutions for reduced technology spend. - Provide proactive technical oversight and mentorship to integration services architecture and development teams, fostering re-use, design for scale, stability, and operational efficiency. - Manage staff throughout the development and implementation of Planning / Procurement applications, including tools supporting Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, and Sales & Operations Planning processes, as well as Strategic Sourcing, Supplier and Contract Management, and Direct / ERP Procurement processes. - Lead and coach staff through projects including planning, analysis, detailed design, partnering with development teams, testing, implementation, and transition to support for in-scope systems. - Provide enhancements and ongoing problem management for the deployed applications. Role Description We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Principal Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions Architect to define, build, and govern Sensata’s enterprise AI technical foundation. This role is expected to combine enterprise architecture judgment with practical implementation ability; the person must be comfortable moving between strategy, design, prototyping, vendor challenge, and production-readiness review. This is not a purely strategic or oversight role. You will be expected to actively design, prototype, and guide implementation of production AI systems in complex enterprise environments. This role will operate under the direction of the Artificial Intelligence Leader (Head of AI) and will support enterprise AI priorities across functions, including but not limited to: - Engineering - Procurement - Supply Chain - Operations - Legal - Quality - Commercial Teams You will establish the AI reference architecture that ensures scalable, reusable, and integrated solutions across the business—while also staying close to execution, validating designs through real implementations. The ideal candidate has personally deployed production AI systems, understands modern GenAI architectures (LLMs, RAG, agents), and is comfortable working directly with code, data, and enterprise systems. This role is critical in preventing fragmented, vendor-driven solutions and ensuring AI is built once and scaled effectively across use cases. • Design, develop, and deploy production models, services, and pipelines that are reliable, scalable, and maintainable • Partner with data science, product, data engineering, and platform teams to translate business problems into technical solutions • Build and optimize model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining workflows • Monitor deployed models for performance degradation, bias, drift, and operational issues • Mentor engineers and contribute to technical standards, best practices, and architecture decisions
