Responsibilities - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver Power Platform solutions that enhance business processes and user outcomes. - Develop and support Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) and Dataverse solutions, including security configuration, data modeling, and system integrations. - Design and maintain Power Automate flows to streamline business processes and AI-driven workflows, incorporating connectors, error handling, approvals, and governance/DLP practices. - Build copilots and agent-based experiences as needed (e.g., Copilot Studio and/or custom interfaces), integrating enterprise systems through secure APIs and connectors. - Implement Azure OpenAI integrations where appropriate (e.g., summarization, extraction, Q&A), including prompt design, tool/function calling, and consideration of cost and latency. - Ensure AI outputs are grounded using appropriate methods (e.g., enterprise knowledge sources, structured data access, and retrieval techniques such as RAG when applicable). - Apply strong software engineering and DevOps practices, including source control, CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and environment/release management. - Maintain security, compliance, and governance standards (DLP, permissions, environment strategy), while following responsible AI practices when leveraging copilots/LLMs. - Diagnose and resolve production issues, while optimizing performance and reliability through logging, metrics, and tracing. - Take full ownership of solutions in production, including monitoring, incident response, continuous improvement, and secure operations. - Design and develop Azure-hosted components that extend Power Platform solutions (e.g., Azure App Services/Functions, REST APIs, background processing) with secure integrations. - Stay up to date on Azure AI/Azure OpenAI, copilots/agents, and AI-assisted development tools, recommending practical adoption as capabilities evolve. Qualifications - Must be local to the DC area. - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse; familiarity with Power BI and Copilot Studio is a plus. - Experience integrating Azure services with the Power Platform, including developing and consuming REST APIs (preferably using Azure App Services/Functions), handling authentication, and working with JSON-based integrations. - Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Copilot CLI, Microsoft Copilot), with strong practices around validation and code review. - Experience integrating Azure OpenAI or similar LLM services, including prompt design, tool/function calling, and evaluating quality, safety, and cost; familiarity with retrieval approaches such as RAG is a plus. - Experience with ALM/DevOps practices, including Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and automated deployments (e.g., Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions), as well as Power Platform solution management. - Strong focus on security and responsible AI practices, including least-privilege access, secrets management, privacy-conscious use of AI tools, and awareness of risks such as prompt injection and data exfiltration. - Strong requirements gathering and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., PL-400, AI-102, AZ-204, AZ-900). • The Revenue Platform Engineer builds internal applications that power workflows, service delivery, and analytics across the Spend Optimization Services (SOS) organization. • This role defines and develops the technical foundation of the SOS revenue platform by building scalable, modern applications that support revenue processes and analytics-driven decision making. • You will design and implement systems that translate business rules into structured, programmable logic – powering pricing, deal desk, and decision-making across the business. • Own the end-to-end design and development of internal applications that support revenue workflows, from initial prototype through deployment and iteration. • Implement application logic that translates business processes and requirements into scalable, programmable functionality. • Collaborate with the Strategic Transformation Office (STO) team, to ensure applications improve process efficiency and maturity while adhering to analytics and reporting needs.

• Architect and drive the execution of our hybrid cloud strategy. You will design the networking, security, and compute abstraction layers that allow seamless workload mobility between on-premises high-performance computing (HPC) and AWS. • Serve as the primary architect for our Kubernetes-based developer framework. You will identify and implement core improvements to the framework to enhance scalability, cost tracking and access control, reduce configuration complexity, and increase developer velocity. • Lead organization-wide initiatives to harden service reliability. You will define the standards for observability, failover strategies, and production-grade stability across all platform-layer services. • Prototype and deploy GenAI-focused tooling and agents to automate Platform Engineering tasks. This includes leveraging LLMs for automated incident response, predictive infrastructure scaling, and intelligent log analysis. • Act as the final technical authority for infrastructure decisions, ensuring all new platform services align with long-term scalability and security goals.
