Revenue Platform Engineer

SHI International Corp.

• The Revenue Platform Engineer builds internal applications that power workflows, service delivery, and analytics across the Spend Optimization Services (SOS) organization. • This role defines and develops the technical foundation of the SOS revenue platform by building scalable, modern applications that support revenue processes and analytics-driven decision making. • You will design and implement systems that translate business rules into structured, programmable logic – powering pricing, deal desk, and decision-making across the business. • Own the end-to-end design and development of internal applications that support revenue workflows, from initial prototype through deployment and iteration. • Implement application logic that translates business processes and requirements into scalable, programmable functionality. • Collaborate with the Strategic Transformation Office (STO) team, to ensure applications improve process efficiency and maturity while adhering to analytics and reporting needs.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in Software Engineering, Software Development, or a related field.
  • Experience developing full-stack applications using modern web frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or similar technologies.
  • Experience building application logic, APIs, and scalable application architectures.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
  • Experience working with relational databases and designing application data models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable technical solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering, analytics, and business teams.
  • Ability to travel 10%.

Requirements - 5+ years of experience administering Atlassian Cloud, including Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud. - Deep expertise in Jira Cloud configuration, including workflows, schemes, permissions, and automation. - Strong experience with Confluence space governance, content structure, and information architecture. - Hands on experience building automations and integrations using REST APIs and scripting (Groovy, Python, or similar). - Experience supporting or administering large scale environments (2,000+ users preferred). - Strong understanding of SaaS governance, security, and compliance best practices. - Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across functions, with clear written and verbal communication. - Comfortable operating independently in a distributed, Virtual First environment. They design, build, and operate batch and real-time data pipelines using Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure DataBricks, and Event Hub. This role also involves designing, building, and operating the data layer on Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL DW, and Cosmos DB. The data engineer is proficient in Azure Data Platform components, including ADLS2, Blob Storage, SQLDW, Synapse Analytics with Spark and SQL, Azure functions with Python, Azure Purview, and Cosmos DB.
