Senior Manager, Corporate Development

CoLogix Analytics

• Senior Manager of Corporate Development will play a pivotal role in assisting in Cologix’s strategic growth initiatives. • This role will help lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic investments including acquisitions, partnerships, and organic investments. • Evaluate potential M&A targets, strategic investments, and partnership opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals. • Manage the end-to-end deal process, including due diligence, valuation, structuring, and integration. • Work with our market analyst to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats related to projects and the company. • Perform detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis, and scenario planning for potential transactions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, product, development, construction and operations, to ensure seamless execution of corporate development initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Ideally, this individual possesses 3+ years of experience in a senior role within a principal investor / operator company (Data center, real estate, etc.)
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.
  • Proven experience in the underwriting and valuation of development opportunities, land acquisitions, and underwriting transactions.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude, quick learner, and self-starter are required attributes.

This role will ensure continuity across vendor management, technical SEO, content optimization, and performance reporting while our SEO lead is on leave. This is a highly executional role — ideal for someone who can quickly audit, prioritize, and drive progress across multiple SEO workstreams without heavy ramp time. Key Responsibilities 1. Vendor Management & Execution - Review current vendor workstreams (link building + content) to understand what is in flight and identify any gaps or risks - Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors - Ensure deliverables are on track, high quality, and aligned with strategy - Provide clear direction and feedback on: - Link acquisition quality and relevance - Content topics, briefs, and optimization opportunities - Identify opportunities to improve vendor output and efficiency 2. Technical SEO - Review current technical SEO initiatives and site health (crawlability, indexing, performance) - Monitor and flag any critical issues or regressions - Partner with Engineering as needed to prioritize and resolve issues - Validate technical implementations (schema, internal linking, site structure) - Ensure SEO best practices are maintained during site or product changes 3. On-Page Optimization - Audit existing priority pages and ongoing optimization efforts - Identify gaps and opportunities across: - Metadata (titles, descriptions) - Content structure and keyword alignment - Internal linking - Partner with content and product teams to implement updates 4. LLM / AI Search Visibility - Assess current visibility across AI-driven search surfaces (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) - Identify opportunities to improve brand and product presence - Partner with content vendors to shape content that improves LLM discoverability - Stay current on evolving best practices and apply learnings 5. Reporting & Insights - Review existing dashboards and reporting frameworks to ensure accuracy and clarity - Provide a weekly performance snapshot including: - Executive Summary - Traffic trends - Rankings (priority keywords/pages) - Key wins, risks, and changes in performance - Call out major shifts (algorithm updates, ranking changes, etc.) - Deliver clear, actionable insights — not just reporting What Success Looks Like - SEO program runs smoothly with no disruption - Quick ramp through clear understanding of what’s already in motion - Vendors are aligned and delivering high-quality output - Key issues are proactively identified and addressed - Clear visibility into performance with actionable insights - No degradation in rankings, traffic, or overall SEO health Qualifications - 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with a D2C company (in-house or agency) - Strong experience across: - Technical SEO - On-page optimization - Content strategy - Experience with AI/LLM search trends - Proven ability to quickly audit and take ownership of in-flight work - Experience managing external vendors - Strong analytical skills — able to translate data into action Nice to Have - Experience with ecommerce or marketplace businesses - Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering - Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/Semrush, Screaming Frog #LI-Remote Company Mission Our mission is to empower people to be creative and connect deeply with the ones they love.
