Ensure budgets are maintained and procurement aligns with the construction schedule. • Monitors the project site for cost, safety, quality, and schedule performance with the contractors and monitors project quality, safety, and risk management plans. • Negotiates change orders and manages the resulting cost and budget impact. • Reviews and approves monthly pay requests. • Controls the payment of project design and construction costs based on document review and approval. Coordinates with the accounting for payments and lien releases and leads regular job cost reviews. • Works closely with the commissioning team to ensure coordination of vendors and contractor commissioning teams to achieve turnover to customers. • Coordinates all final close out procedures for the project as delivered by the contractor, including as-built drawings, close out, letter of substantial completion. • Continually tracks project costs, allowances, contingencies within the financial software. • Able to solve problems at a tactical and functional level • Provide Data-driven action plans for executive decision making to manage and effectively present information in a manner to support efficient decision making • Mitigate risk for the project through pre-planning, innovative planning, and partnership
