Workday System Analyst – Financials, PSA
Elliott Davis
• Serve as the primary Workday subject matter expert, providing hands-on support for day-to-day operations and project initiatives within Workday Financial Management and PSA, including business process configuration, integrations support, EIBs, testing, and production issue resolution. • Act as the first point of contact for Workday Finance and PSA related issues, proactively monitoring and maintaining the Workday Production environment. • Configure and maintain Workday solutions across Finance, PSA, and Time Tracking, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. • Lead the testing and evaluation of new Workday features and functionality, including unit testing, regression testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and pre-launch validation, while contributing to semi-annual Workday release planning and execution. • Build and maintain advanced Workday Financial reports (Matrix and Composite) to deliver accurate, actionable insights to key stakeholders. • Configure, maintain, and optimize Finance and PSA business processes, custom objects, and condition rules, while ensuring compliance with security requirements. • Monitor, triage, and resolve Workday financial-related support tickets in a timely manner to maintain operational excellence and high system reliability. • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Workday PRO certification or additional experience supporting other Workday Products.
- Experience working within a shared Workday HCM environment.
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of hands-on experience supporting Workday financials & PSA, including configuration and administration.
- Strong proficiency with Workday reporting tools, including Report Writer, Composite Reports, Dashboards, and Worksheets.
- Strong understanding of business process design, system configuration, and implementation best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter, with strong intellectual curiosity and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective system solutions.
