Role Description The role of the Audit Manager is to oversee the audit process from planning to completion for clients as part of the company’s annual audit plan. Tasks will include supervising the audit process, researching, reviewing current processes and providing recommendations to enhance company policies and procedures. The Audit Manager is responsible for training, supporting, supervising, motivating, and reviewing the work of audit staff and senior members. - Possess thorough knowledge of all facets of client’s business to ensure client understanding of engagement economics and to provide frequent updates. - Actively communicate the progress of engagements, problems, and resolutions to clients. - Continuously improve specialty area knowledge and educate team on new audit practices and processes. - Manage billable hour budgets and follow up when the team is over/under to determine the cause. - Lead multiple auditing and accounting projects and client engagements simultaneously. - Delegate and manage audit and accounting assignments to achieve accurate and efficient product. - Research and identify complex audit issues and recommend creative solutions with the input of key stakeholders. - Build challenging developmental plans for all team members and evaluate results. - Assume responsibility for and provide direction and coaching to the audit team. - Generate new business for the firm through community involvement, networking, and professional events/committees. - Develop and sustain excellent client relationships, owning the relationship end-to-end. - Celebrate individual and team accomplishments and be part of recruiting new and experienced staff. - Provide effective performance feedback and on-the-job training. - Contribute to performance management to help assess readiness for promotion of staff and senior levels. Qualifications - A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. - 5+ years of recent audit experience at a public accounting firm. - CPA Certification. - Successful experience in developing new or extended service opportunities with existing and/or prospective clients. - Strong oral and written interpersonal skills. - Effective analytical and problem-solving ability. - Experience in hiring, developing, and leading a team of professional auditors. - Experience in SOX compliance audits for financial institutions. • Assist with buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence for M&A transactions including analyzing historical tax filings, workpapers, and financial statements, and identifying and quantifying tax exposures related to income, sales/use, payroll, property, and unclaimed property. • Prepare call agendas for tax due diligence meetings with target management. • Assist in assessing tax attributes, including NOLs and credits, including any limitations under Section 382/383. • Prepare tax due diligence reports and executive summaries outlining key findings, risks, and structuring considerations in a clear, concise and articulate manner. • Conduct focused tax research on technical issues and transaction-specific fact patterns. • Lead and assist sections of tax due diligence meetings with target management. • Collaborate with other Elliott Davis team members, including FDD and tax subject matter specialists

• Apply tax knowledge to intermediate level flow-through returns and all levels of individual returns • Review basic tax return engagements • Work effectively in analyzing business transactions • Perform complete & efficient reviews of individual and business tax returns while providing guidance to other staff • Gather data from client, A&A department, and third party sources • Perform tax research with view for alternatives to satisfy client’s objectives • Resolve all open items/issues encountered on assigned engagements • Direct and control concurrent assignments to successful completion • Bottom-line management of assigned engagements and individual productivity opportunities • Teach, develop and oversee staff through engagements; delegate assignments and tasks • Provide honest, objective and constructive feedback in timely manner to staff • Collaborate to identify and sell opportunities among existing clients • Serve as a mentor and role model through active participation in firm committees, departmental matters and events

• Serve as the primary Workday subject matter expert, providing hands-on support for day-to-day operations and project initiatives within Workday Financial Management and PSA, including business process configuration, integrations support, EIBs, testing, and production issue resolution. • Act as the first point of contact for Workday Finance and PSA related issues, proactively monitoring and maintaining the Workday Production environment. • Configure and maintain Workday solutions across Finance, PSA, and Time Tracking, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. • Lead the testing and evaluation of new Workday features and functionality, including unit testing, regression testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and pre-launch validation, while contributing to semi-annual Workday release planning and execution. • Build and maintain advanced Workday Financial reports (Matrix and Composite) to deliver accurate, actionable insights to key stakeholders. • Configure, maintain, and optimize Finance and PSA business processes, custom objects, and condition rules, while ensuring compliance with security requirements. • Monitor, triage, and resolve Workday financial-related support tickets in a timely manner to maintain operational excellence and high system reliability. • Other duties as assigned

• Lead buy-side and sell-side healthcare transaction services engagements, providing financial due diligence assistance to private equity, mezzanine funds, and strategic buyers • Perform quality of earnings, quality of revenue, debt and debt-like, working capital analysis • Develop an understanding of the client’s business, recognize and evaluate key performance drivers, operational trends and developments of target companies • Create and design tailored transaction advisory reports specific to key issues such as normalized earnings, financial reporting, networking capital trends, and indebtedness considerations • Communicate due diligence findings confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner both verbally and in written reports • Ability to lead an engagement and provide real-time feedback and guidance to clients to ensure timely and efficient product delivery • Create a collaborative team environment, motivate, and develop team through communication and actions • Lead and participate in people development and business development efforts • Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds expectations • Lead conversations with teams, clients and stakeholders to build trust • Identify performance improvement opportunities and recommend creative solutions to complex issues • Be growth motivated, own client relationships and oversee engagement economics and management of resources • Collaborate with other Elliott Davis team members • Opportunity to engage in business development as a manager and early exposure to participating in the growth of the practice

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of private equity structures and deliver strategic tax solutions that support compliance and optimize outcomes for portfolio operating companies. Key Responsibilities Tax Compliance & Advisory Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations for portfolio companies. Interpret and apply U.S. tax code sections related to partnerships and other investment structures. Private Equity Expertise Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of private equity portfolio company structures, including partnerships, corporations, and various investment vehicles. Advise on tax-related intricacies of partnership structures, allocations, and distributions. Transaction Support Provide consulting and tax modeling for mergers & acquisitions (M\&A) and equity transactions. Collaborate with deal teams to assess tax implications and structure transactions efficiently.
