Job Description Summary As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will support two critical, high-visibility client groups in our Digital Technology (IT) executive team: Data Science and AI and Commercial Sales & Customer Experience (CSCx). This Sr. Director level role is the primary HR partner for a VP-level Chief Data and AI Officer and a Sr. executive CIO supporting our Sales and Customer Experience organization. You will anticipate the needs of these functions and drive innovative people solutions that challenge and inspire our people to thrive in fulfilling GE Aerospace’s mission. You will play a key role in shaping and enabling the enterprise AI and data talent strategy, the AI operating model, and the people and organization agenda for CSCx DT, partnering closely with senior executives in a fast-evolving space. You will focus on driving business outcomes, elevating talent and leadership for AI, data, and commercial digital roles, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and creating an employee experience that attracts and retains critical digital and AI talent. This is a senior individual contributor role, operating in a global, matrixed environment with direct exposure to cross-functional teams and executives. This role operates in a mixed-mode hybrid, global, and highly collaborative environment. You will balance virtual engagement with periodic in-person interactions at GE Aerospace locations to build relationships, support key leadership forums, and anchor major data, AI, and commercial digital change efforts Job Description Essential Responsibilities: - Serve as a trusted advisor to Data Science and AI and CSCx DT leaders, participating in leadership discussions and translating strategy into a clear people and organization agenda. - Enable the AI operating model, helping define and operationalize roles, skills, governance, and ways of working for AI and data across the enterprise. - Bring an external lens on AI, data, and commercial digital talent markets and workforce trends to inform strategic decisions. - Build and sustain strong talent pipelines for critical data science, AI, and commercial digital roles through succession planning, talent reviews, and targeted development. - Coach senior and people leaders to effectively lead highly technical and cross-functional teams, balancing innovation with execution. - Partner with Talent and Learning to shape development pathways and experiences for AI, data, and commercial digital talent. - Support organization design and workforce planning to scale AI products, data platforms, and commercial digital capabilities globally. - Lead and support change initiatives as AI-driven tools, processes, and ways of working are introduced across functions, ensuring people impacts are understood and managed. - Embed FLIGHT DECK/lean practices into leadership routines and people processes, driving continuous improvement and performance. - Shape a compelling employee experience for data, AI, and commercial digital professionals, focused on meaningful work, growth, recognition, and flexibility. - Foster a culture of innovation and responsibility, encouraging experimentation while maintaining strong standards for safety, ethics, and compliance in AI use. - Partner on Inclusion & Diversity efforts to ensure diverse representation and inclusive team dynamics across Data Science and AI and CSCx DT. - Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent, Total Rewards, HR Operations, etc.) to design and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions for AI, data, and commercial DT talent. - Influence enterprise HR priorities by surfacing systemic AI/data and commercial digital talent issues (e.g., skills, retention, location strategy). - Guide leaders on complex employee relations matters with sound judgment, integrity, and an employee advocacy mindset. Qualifications/ Requirement: - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. - Minimum 10 years of progressive HR or related experience, including substantial HR Business Partner experience (ideally with technology, digital, or data-focused client groups). Desired Characteristics: - HRBP experience in aerospace, commercial manufacturing, technology, data/AI, or other complex, global, and/or regulated environments. - Proven ability to understand and influence functional strategy and translate it into a focused people and organization agenda. - Experience supporting technology, product, or data/AI teams, or strong demonstrated interest in AI, analytics, and digital transformation. - Strong track record in leadership coaching, succession planning, and building pipelines for critical technical and commercial roles. - Experience with organizational design, workforce planning, and leading or supporting transformation in fast-evolving areas. - Comfort partnering with HR CoEs and shared services, balancing local needs with enterprise standards, and influencing cross-functional priorities. - Strong executive presence, communication, and coaching skills; able to simplify complexity and influence senior stakeholders. - Interest and experience in lean/continuous improvement; familiarity with FLIGHT DECK or similar operating systems is a plus. - Advanced degree in HR, Industrial/Labor Relations, Business, or related field, and/or HR certifications (e.g., PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred. Pay and Benefits: - The base pay range for this position is $158,000 - 225,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
