Technical Support Lead

• Monitor and track operational performance metrics for fielded equipment • Identify, categorize, and document failure modes, and initiate resolution through appropriate ticketing and escalation processes. • Perform software and firmware updates on equipment deployed in the field. • Conduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on equipment in the field. • Perform subassembly-level repairs on fielded systems as required. • Repair returned equipment if feasible • Propose product performance improvements based on data • Support operations in the receipt, triage, and disposition of returned equipment from the field. • Assist with creation and upkeep of user/technical documentation • Assist with training of field service team on new products and updates to existing products. • Generate and circulate periodic performance reports on field equipment • Assist in warranty support involving electronic and mechanical systems • Perform or support troubleshooting, diagnostics, and failure analysis to identify root cause, validate repair approach, and recommend corrective actions. • Proactively identify service, and uptime improvement opportunities based on data and experience.
Field Service Sales Representative – East Coast

• Work with regional DSO sales personnel in building strong relationships with existing and new customers. • This will include regular visits to key customers in your region. • Educate customers on the benefits of Friction Management, leverage FM field service subject matter expertise. • Audit customer’s existing trackside or onboard FM program upon request. • Work with team in developing and reviewing customer centric FM proposals. • Working closely with outside sales & commercial manager, take a leading role in managing the customer relationship pertaining to friction management products & services. • This includes ongoing follow-up with customers to ensure they are procuring parts, consumables, and services as needed. • Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of LBF products and services. • Maintain knowledge and pricing information of competitive products and prices. • Assist commercial manager & outside sales in the development and execution of annual sales plans for your respective region of focus (DSO). • Identify new customers, make contact, and communicate LB Foster’s FM product & service offerings generating new business opportunities. • Schedule site visits for FM assessments • Attend various industry trade shows and conferences representing LB Foster with purpose to generate new leads and opportunities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions using .NET technologies. • Development and implementation of front-end and back-end components. • Write clean, maintainable code that meets industry standards and best practices. • Attend code reviews and other Agile ceremonies. • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability. • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the .NET ecosystem. • All other duties as assigned

Responsibilities: - Support the design, development and implementation, and maintenance of talent management and compensation and HRIS projects. - Assist with configuration and integration of Learning Management System (LMS). - Help with integration and administration of new compliance training product. - Update materials and/or any documents related to programs in in PowerPoint, Word, or Adobe products. - Attend programs via podcast or webinar as needed to assist the facilitator. - Assist in maintaining the department SharePoint and Microsoft Teams pages. - Prepare email and other communication documents related to initiatives, courses, and programs. - All other duties as assigned. Experience, Education & License Requirements - Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources or related field preferred. - Rising sophomore, junior or senior. - Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite skills. Experience in SharePoint a plus. - Strong written and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage time with minimal supervision. - Demonstrated analytical skills. - Process orientated. - Exercise a high level of confidentiality while working with sensitive information. - Ability to work effectively in a team.
Field Service Technician I

• Traveling on a weekly basis to deliver company products, fill customer silos, provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting / repair and customer training support for all LB Foster friction management lubricators • Extensive travel to work sites throughout North America is required on a weekly basis • Liaise with external customers and internal company departments for product development and relationship-building initiatives • Ability to work outdoors on railway tracks under a variety of weather conditions • Responsible for managing personal travel expense account, individual or company-supplied mechanics tools, company-issued credit cards where applicable • Handles basic issues and problems, refers more complex issues to higher-level staff • All other duties as assigned
