Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist with a focus on Data Quality to join our team. As a Data Governance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of our data assets. Your expertise will help us maintain the highest standards of data quality, integrity, and security, ultimately supporting our mission to protect those who protect us. Key Responsibilities: - Data Quality Framework Development: Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive data quality framework that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. - Data Quality Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and execute data quality monitoring processes to identify, assess, and mitigate data quality issues. Provide regular reporting to stakeholders on data quality metrics and trends. - Data Governance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards that ensure data quality, security, and compliance. - Tool Implementation and Management: Work with our technical teams to implement and manage data quality tools, prior experience of one of the major tools is a plus (Attacama, Precisely, Anomalo, Collibra) - Data Quality Assessments: Conduct regular data quality assessments to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for data quality enhancements. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand data quality requirements, provide training, and ensure data quality best practices are adopted. - Data Incident Management: Participate in data incident management processes to identify, contain, and resolve data quality issues. - Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our data quality framework and processes. #LI-KK1 #LI-REMOTE Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration) - 6-10 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field - Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices - Familiarity with Data Catalog Tools (e.g., Alation, Collibra) and Master Data Management (MDM) Methodology and tools (e.g., Semarchy, Information, Profisee) - Experience with data quality assessment frameworks and metrics - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\\ - Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations - Proficiency in data quality tools (eg. Attacama, Collibra, Precisely, and Anomalo) Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration) - Over 10 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field - Advanced knowledge of data governance frameworks and standards (e.g., DAMA, ISO 27001) - Experience with data governance tools and technologies (e.g., data catalogs, data quality software) - Certification in data governance or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Governance Specialist, Certified Data Management Professional) - Experience with project management and oversight of related projects Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
