• Produce the Show: Own the end-to-end production of our weekly virtual All Hands and the content for our high-impact, in-person quarterly town halls. We are looking for someone who sees these as a production, not just a meeting. • Master the Pivot: You will be our Change Management lead. When priorities shift and they will, you will draft the plans that help employees understand the why and the how, keeping them steady and motivated. • The Slack Sensei: Define how we live and breathe on Slack. You will maintain the architecture and norms to keep it a high-signal, high-energy community. • Strategic Advisor: You will not just take orders. You will partner with leaders and executives to provide strategic comms advice, helping them deliver messages with clarity, candor, and maximum impact. • Culture Architect: Create rituals that celebrate what good looks like at Engine, reinforcing our culture through recognition and shared experiences.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in communications, but more importantly, a portfolio that shows creativity and edge.
  • Strong judgment around tone and timing.
  • Experience in a fast-moving or remote-first environment is a major plus.
  • A background in change management or navigating scale-up growing pains.

Role Description The Strategic Programs Lead, Communications, Advocacy, and Escalations sits within the Risk Operations Enablement team and serves as a key driver of Stripe’s readiness and execution for large-scale risk and regulatory initiatives. You will be expected to help define milestones and how to communicate those milestones to our users from end-to-end program management to tactical email content reviews. Qualifications - 6+ years in working in a high-performance environment with globally diverse, matrixed stakeholders in a fast-growing scale. - Strong content writing skills (emails, presentations) and strong public speaking skills (trainings, roadshows, senior leadership discussions). - Strong cross-functional leadership with experience aligning Product, PMM, TPM, GTM, and Operations teams toward shared goals. - Experience working with customers directly and experience preparing for and leading customer conversations. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interface with executive-level stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications - Direct experience working with customers is a plus. - Direct experience in external communications is a plus. - Experience designing enablement programs including webinars, field training, and reference guides. - Prior tech experience is a plus.
