We are seeking an IT Architect – Data & Analytics to join the Office of the CTO to contribute to the architecture and advancement of data and analytics solutions within the organization. In this role, you will support the development of enterprise architecture that enables reliable, secure, and well-integrated data capabilities. Your work will help ensure that systems are aligned with enterprise standards and able to support a variety of analytics, reporting, and data-driven use cases across Mayo Clinic. The IT Architect applies enterprise architecture concepts at a solution and domain level, working closely with senior architects, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective architectural designs. You will contribute to architecture reviews, develop design artifacts, and evaluate technology options to support sound technical decisions. This role participates in technical planning and helps promote consistency, integration, and reuse across systems, while building depth in architectural practices and contributing to the evolution of Mayo Clinic’s data and analytics ecosystem. Experience with cloud security principles and platforms, including securing SaaS, IaaS, and zero trust environments. Familiarity with Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) and cloud-delivered security controls. Experience working with Azure DevOps for pipeline management, automation, and integration of security practices into development workflows (DevSecOps). Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI to support security metrics, risk reporting, and decision-making. Exposure to AI and emerging technologies, including leveraging AI-driven tools to enhance security analysis, automation, and operational efficiency. Experience developing business requirements and participating in testing and validation of system changes to ensure alignment with security, business, and operational needs. Ability to operate effectively in a hybrid work environment, including participation in on-site work-related events, team collaboration sessions, and key organizational activities as required. • Assist with administration of Zscaler Products & features in the demo environment - referred to as the Solutions Demo Center (SDC) • Administer 3rd party applications in the demo environment (maintain, update, etc) • Provide support for various demo and lab environments via email and enterprise messaging, escalating when necessary • Help to create and maintain demo environment documentation • Assist with/participate in the New Product Initiative process, and the onboarding of new products and features into the demo environment

• Define and champion target-state infrastructure and cloud architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, aligned to client business objectives and long-term transformation strategies. • Provide architectural leadership and governance across solution design, ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient platforms spanning legacy, private cloud, and public cloud ecosystems. • Oversee the development of detailed solutions and implementation designs that guide engineering, build, migration, and operational transition activities. • Lead and direct delivery and implementation teams responsible for executing the approved target-state architecture across the full infrastructure stack. • Serve as the senior authority for architectural decisions, design trade-offs, and delivery alignment throughout multi-year transformation programs. • Deliver solution on time and on budget.
