• Responsible for development of Payroll & Time within UNIVERSAL Corporate technology • Work closely with functional teams and SAP ECC developers • Build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that enable Payroll and Time Management • Contribute to planning and building future integrations and extensions to SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC), Employee Central Pay (ECP) • Leverage SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) capabilities • Responsible for design, build, test and maintain SAP programs, custom extension of SAP programs... • Support enhancements and troubleshoot payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, time evaluation schemas/rules, and posting to Finance • Develop and optimize ABAP programs, payroll drivers, custom reports • Partner with HR functional expertise to understand requirements, translate into technical specification • Conduct knowledge sharing sessions, design/code walk through, and ensure best practice • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve production issues • Provide support to batch job scheduling, transport management, and data exchange for internal and external partners • Collaborate with functional teams to translate user stories and problem statements into project/solution requirements • Support year-end payroll processing activities, tax updates through BSI/TUBs and regulatory compliance • Provide recommendations, develop customized solutions as needed
Job Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in SAP ECC HCM ABAP development and ABAP Workflow
- 3-5+ years of experience of leveraging S4/HANA
- Expert knowledge in Payroll schemas and rules, Time evaluation schemas and rules, payroll posting to Finance, and off-cycle payroll processing
- Demonstrated expertise of integrations between SAP Payroll and external systems (benefits, banks, tax authorities)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- SAP Certified Development – ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.5
- SAP Certified Application – SAP HCM with ERP

Job Description Summary Senior Engineer to support Outage Engineering for GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy’s (GVH) customers. Develop and deliver Outage Servicing Tools and Equipment that are used during maintenance, inspection, refueling and outages in both Boiling Water Reactors (BWR) and Pressurized Water Reactors (PWR) at domestic and international Nuclear Plants. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, analysis and testing of new products and technology to meet customer needs and overcome complex technical challenges. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities As a Senior Engineer you will: - Execute the design, development and analysis for specialty tooling and equipment using sound engineering principles and adhering to engineering standards, practices, procedures, and product requirements. - Develop Outage Servicing Tooling and Equipment of high complexity. - Demonstrate solid knowledge of Mechanical Design principles including expertise in areas such as; mechanical design, mechanical component design, structural design, welding, joint connections, and fabrication techniques. - Proactively communicate and deliver assignments on time. - Identify and mitigate technical risk. - Communicate technical details to fabricators through the generation of fabrication drawings, specifications, and direct communication. - Generate operational instructions for newly developed tools and equipment. - Contribute to the success of others by providing feedback and technical input during design reviews and verifications. - Provide mentorship to peers. - Provide emergent issue response to Field Services teams and Customers as required. Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university - At least 8 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering and/or machine design experience Eligibility Requirements - The preferred work location for this role is at the GVH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC but highly qualified remote (US based) candidates will be considered. - Ability to obtain commercial nuclear site entry. - Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% (30 % if remote) domestically and internationally to other GE Vernova locations, vendors, and customer sites as necessary. - This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to U.S. export-controlled technology.
