• Serve as Tier 1–2 support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues. • Handle onboarding/offboarding, Microsoft 365 account setup, and permissions. • Administer device management through Apple Business Essentials and Intune. • Guide staff on IT best practices and secure system usage. • Manage AWS and Azure environments, including VM hosting, storage, networking, and cost efficiency. • Support Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, and hybrid infrastructure. • Maintain backups, monitoring, and disaster recovery readiness. • Automate repetitive admin tasks where feasible. • Configure and support LAN/WAN, VPN, wireless networks, and Cisco devices. • Apply security policies, patches, and endpoint protections. • Assist in monitoring, audits, and compliance reporting. • Support infrastructure upgrades, SaaS integrations, and security initiatives. • Participate in application deployments, testing, and documentation. • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT leadership and engineering teams.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or IT Support Specialist.
- Strong experience with AWS and Azure administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, and Linux systems.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-service mindset.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: AWS SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Security+, or Cisco CCNA.
- Previous experience supporting IT projects in mid-to-large organizations.
- Familiarity with Asana, Jira, or similar ticketing/project systems.

• Manage our Proxmox deployments, manage backup systems, and improve observability. • Manage our deployed operating systems, primarily Ubuntu but including FreeBSD and Windows. • Improve observability of our control system and network infrastructure. • Improve the security posture of our facilities. • Work with software and network engineers to reduce manual work required for configuration and deployment of our systems via automation. • Train on-site technicians to perform regular maintenance on deployed equipment. • Improve the software test environment (miniMaestro) deployment in order to streamline the software test process. • Visit our sites occasionally for stand-ups and maintenance as necessary (<5%).
