Key Industry Manager
Castolin Eutectic
• Drive the growth of Castolin Eutectic’s wear services, including CDP wearplate, Castotube, LaserClad and other complementary products, by targeting key strategic accounts in the MINING, POWER GENERATION, CEMENT, AND STEEL INDUSTRIES. • Work closely with the Services Team to provide technical and application support, • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including but not limited to end users in mining, cement, and OEMs, to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. • Identify prospects and existing customers needs that fit the company’s services capabilities. • Develop messaging for new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion. • Maintain an Opportunity Pipeline: Within Dynamics CRM maintain an opportunity pipeline. The manager shall review the teams opportunity reports weekly and provide an opportunity report update to Management. • Provide technical, design, and product support to customers, addressing wear-related queries and assisting with proposals and quotations. • Maintain contact and cooperation with other regions to share best practices and drive continuous improvement in technical and commercial approaches. • Ensure the achievement of sales volumes, revenue targets, and enhanced gross profit margins for the Wear Services business. • Support the development of the organization's vision, mission, and objectives to generate revenue and profitability. • Represent the company at marketing events, trade shows, conferences, and training workshops. • Keep key documentation updated on CRM and deliver expense reports on a weekly basis.
Job Requirements
- 10-15 years of relevant industrial sales experience OR 10-15 years of relevant experience as a maintenance supervisor, maintenance manager, maintenance planner, reliability engineer, sales engineer or similar experience in MINING, POWER GENERATION, CEMENT, AND STEEL INDUSTRIES.
- Solid understanding of the wear issues and wear management solutions offerings in MINING, POWER GENERATION, CEMENT, AND STEEL INDUSTRIES.
- Must be comfortable speaking with maintenance, engineering and purchasing personnel within key accounts.
- Basic understanding of welding, maintenance and repair technologies.
- Consultative communication skills
- Possess a hunter mentality with cold-calling experience.
- Basic understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of basic print reading skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated and self-directed individual.
- Well organized and detail-oriented and good with time management skills
- Ability to travel up to 60%.
