Job Description

Business Data Analyst

Bart & Associates, Inc.

• Provide analytical support across portfolio programs, including business case development and project planning • Conduct business process reengineering (BPR) to improve efficiency and effectiveness • Analyze IT performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities • Develop and present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders • Support portfolio tracking and reporting using enterprise task management tools • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analysis with mission objectives • Utilize platforms like Power BI and ServiceNow to visualize and manage data • Track project performance, milestones, and deliverables across multiple systems

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in business/data analysis or related field
  • At least four (4) years supporting DLA EFM enterprise tools and capabilities
  • Minimum of two (2) years supporting DLA Agile development programs
  • Experience working within government or large-scale enterprise environments
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis, reporting, and portfolio management tools
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation capabilities
  • Experience with MS Power BI and data visualization tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of project and portfolio management concepts
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools such as ServiceNow (SPM, ITSM), SharePoint, and task tracking systems
  • Ability to perform business process reengineering (BPR)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, including defending analytical findings
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and development environments
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority (e.g., data analytics, project management, or related field)
