SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway Developer

• Design, build, and maintain integrations between SAP ERP (S/4HANA) and SAP Ariba solutions using Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG). • Configure and support integrations for Ariba modules such as Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, and Supplier Lifecycle Performance (SLP). • Implement and maintain standard Ariba integration scenarios including: Purchase Orders, Order Confirmations, Ship Notices, Invoices, Supplier master data synchronization. • Configure and troubleshoot cXML, IDoc, and web service integrations. • Collaborate with functional teams for technical design and documentation. • Support supplier enablement and onboarding activities within the Ariba Network. • Monitor integration flows and resolve issues related to message processing, errors, and data mapping. • Implement best practices for security, error handling, monitoring, and performance. • Collaborate with infrastructure and middleware teams supporting integration platforms such as SAP Integration Suite / CPI, PI/PO, or other middleware. • Participate in testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and production support. • Document integration architecture, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
Job Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
- Experience communicating with functional and technical SAP teams including infrastructure, security and networking.
- Experience with the following in SAP: S4 HANA Cloud for Application Interface Framework; implementing SAP Ariba integrations using CIG; and cXML, IDoc, SOAP/REST APIs, and Ariba Network messaging; SAP ECC or S4 HANA with SAP Ariba.
- Knowledge of procurement process in SAP (Procure to Pay)
- Background in sustainment support (issues related to end-to-end interfaces including troubleshooting and resolving errors) and system monitoring (interfaces inbound and outbound issues and supporting any failures that may arise).
- Travel up to 10% during project roll out.
- SAP Ariba or SAP integration certifications preferred.
- Experience with EDI standards and supplier integrations, supplier enablement and Ariba Network onboarding, and SAP Integration Suite (CPI) or SAP PI/PO.
- Knowledge of SAP Ariba functional modules (buying, sourcing, contracts, and SLP).
- Exposure to interface performance tuning, observability platforms and troubleshooting production issues.
