LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. Location: Remote Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Human Resources Generalist to support the full spectrum of Human Resources (HR) functions for our multi‑state government contracting organization of approximately 250 employees. This role is ideal for an early‑career HR professional who is ready to grow, take ownership of key HR processes, and contribute to a compliance‑driven, fast‑paced environment. You will work closely with the Director of Human Resources to ensure smooth daily operations, exceptional employee experience, and adherence to federal, state, and contract‑specific requirements. Duties and Responsibilities: - Coordinate full‑cycle onboarding and offboarding, including new‑hire paperwork, background checks, and orientation logistics. - Draft offer letters and coordinate all required post‑contingent offer screenings and verifications. - Post jobs on internal and external sites. - Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data. - Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiries. - Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and state‑specific regulations. - Support compliance with government contracting requirements such as OFCCP, EEO reporting, and contract‑specific labor standards. - Maintain documentation and audit‑ready files for internal and external reviews. - Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and HR support needs. - Assist with employee relations matters by gathering information, documenting issues, and escalating appropriately. - Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications. - Assist the Director of HR with HR initiatives, policy updates, and process enhancements. - Support HR reporting, metrics tracking, and data analysis. - Contribute to special projects such as handbook updates, system implementations, or training programs. - Other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. - 2 – 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or coordinator capacity. - Strong understanding of HR fundamentals, employment laws, and compliance requirements. - Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills. - Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. - Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
