Role Description The Internal Strategic Consultant supports the Executive Director of Growth, Strategy, and Products by developing high-impact content, strategic insights, and cross-functional initiatives that advance organizational growth, product innovation, and market positioning. This role works with a high degree of autonomy and serves as a trusted advisor and collaborator, translating complex strategies into compelling, actionable materials for internal teams and external stakeholders. The consultant operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with significant influence across strategic planning, communications, and executive-level decision support. Essential Functions & Responsibilities - Develop, edit, and manage content for presentations, reports, and communications shared with investors, owners, and internal teams. - Share market research intelligence and data analysis to dissect this information and strategize how to use it for C5MI. - Collaborate with leadership to articulate and communicate C5MI’s strategic direction, growth initiatives, and key business objectives. - Support the creation of messaging grids, brand narratives, and strategic communications that align with C5MI’s mission and values. - Coordinate and prepare materials for investor meetings, quarterly updates, and external presentations. - Ensure consistency and clarity in messaging across all channels, including digital, print, and live events. - Partner with cross-functional teams to gather insights and translate strategy into compelling content. - Monitor industry trends and best practices in investor relations and strategic communications to continuously improve content quality. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Business, or related field. - Must have GovCon experience. - 3-5 years experience with internal strategy. - Proven experience in content creation, strategic communications, or investor relations. - Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills using PowerPoint. - Ability to translate complex strategies into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences. - Experience collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. - Familiarity with digital communication platforms and content management systems. - We are looking for someone on the East coast for this position. Nice to Have (Not Required) - Experience supporting investor relations, executive communications, or strategic planning functions. - Background in management consulting, product strategy, or corporate strategy. - Experience developing messaging frameworks, brand narratives, or strategic communication plans. - Familiarity with competitive intelligence tools or market research platforms. - Experience working in technology, supply chain, or digital transformation environments. Compensation In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $100,500 – $120,600 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
