Senior Project Manager

MVB

• Creates and manages project plans for the project, portfolio, product prioritization, and implementation • Evaluates trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value • Designs analyze and develop process improvements • Partners with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria • Build, lead, and coach multiple project teams concurrently throughout project lifecycles • Facilitates all operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of projects • Lead and facilitate collaborative design sessions with external and internal client or partner teams. • Ensures all projects adhere to project management framework and compliance standards set by the company • Continually updates relevant business stakeholder of project status • Ensures all projects meet success parameters and ROI targets stated in the business case • Successfully drives projects with a leadership vision • Assists in managing the project management office (e.g., reporting, budget management, travel requests, administrative support, etc.) as needed • Support other cross-functional initiatives (e.g., Risk Management, Business Continuity, Product Management, etc.) as directed • Collaborates with colleagues, industry peers, and functional teams to continuously improve the project management framework at MVB by defining and implementing best practices that add value. • Collaborate with Card Brand Manager as needed to configure, implement, and manage card programs or related products • Work with Sponsor or Account Management to facilitate the transition from project / implementation to business as usual and servicing.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, engineering, business, or equivalent work or education related experience.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of project management and/or process improvement experience, preferably in banking and card payments.
  • Knowledge of banking technology stacks and how they integrate with one another.
  • Understanding and experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean and/or Six Sigma)
  • Excellent project management, organization, and team collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of treasury services, deposit operations and accounting operations.
  • Demonstrated facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions at the moment
  • Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change, unpredictability and a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent data analysis, reporting, and business process analysis skills

The Role The Account Manager II – Inside is responsible for growing revenue in the small to medium sized customer accounts.
