Role Description This position is a product and applications technical expert for the US Gas Equipment business within The Harris Products Group, A Lincoln Electric Company. The role supports our customers and sales organization by explaining the technical features of our industrial and specialty gas equipment product line. This includes: - Understanding key components that make up our finished goods. - Recommending specific products based on the customer’s intended application (considering key variables such as pressure, flowrate, purity, and gas service). - Prioritizing safety and compliance with regulatory requirements. Customer support comes in the form of: - Response to inbound phone/video calls, emails, web inquiries. - Occasional in-person meetings. Support will be provided for all sales channels including: - Distributors - OEMs - Wholesale - Export - Intercompany - Others Common support activities include: - Recommending products - Sales quotations - Troubleshooting - Evaluating component alternatives (deviations) - Product design changes - Special/custom order design The role works closely with various Sales groups and other departments. The Gas Equipment product line covers both Industrial and Specialty Gas segments and includes: - Pressure regulators - Flowmeters - Supply switchover manifolds (manual, semiautomatic, and fully automatic) - Cylinder storage equipment (brackets, racks, cabinets) - Gas distribution equipment (headers, pigtails, station drops, point-of-use panels, etc.) - Torches, tips, and mixers for fabrication (cutting/welding/brazing) - Gas blenders and other accessories (pressure gauges, shutoff valves, alarms/annunciators, relief valves, flashback arrestors, etc.) The preferred location for this role is in Gainesville, Georgia, but will consider remote applicants. Qualifications - 7-10+ years experience in a field related to gas pressure and flow control equipment, gas distribution equipment, and/or gas torches used in cutting and fabrication. - Associates (2-yr) degree in technical field. - Experience reading electrical or mechanical schematics. - Working knowledge of ERP as related to inventory, production, and customer service. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Requirements - Bachelors (4-yr) degree in technical field (preferred). • Reporting to the Innovation Manager, this position is for the development of process steam distribution and control systems for industrial applications • Leads the development of process steam systems for pressure/heat-augmentation, distribution and interfaces with industrial steam consumer facilities • Defines requirements and specifications • Identifies and proposes optimal solutions to meet customer requirements through technical analysis and cost/benefit trade-off analysis • Performs thermodynamic analysis of steam systems using modeling and simulation tools • Works on complex tasks in multiple and diverse areas • Stays current on latest technologies and processes relevant for process steam and industrial power applications • Defines the scope of work of interdisciplinary systems and acts as the technical liaison between the R&D team, procurement and external EPC and subcontractors • Performs other duties as assigned

• Design and build custom solutions that range from AI-powered workflows to full-stack applications • Work closely with internal teams to translate client requirements into elegant technical solutions • Contribute to developing tools for marketing team and creating micro-applications • Update website and micro-apps, develop client-specific applications, configure LLMs, and build internal tools

• Drive Process Improvements: Implement strategies to enhance manufacturing processes at supplier facilities. • Foster Strong Relationships: Build and maintain effective partnerships with internal and external customers, key collaborators, and stakeholders. • Guide Decision-Making: Provide quality assurance expertise to influence decisions, ensuring alignment with customer priorities and mission success. • Communicate Technical Requirements: Interpret and convey purchase order technical and quality requirements. • Ensure Compliance with Product Requirements: Verify that product specifications are communicated and adhered to by suppliers. • Evaluate Supplier Performance: Conduct supplier assessments focused on quality, engineering, manufacturing capabilities. • Perform Technical Evaluations: Conduct in-depth technical evaluations to support cost analysis. • Manage Supplier Change Requests: Oversee supplier requests for product and process changes. • Report Supplier Health: Communicate the technical health and performance of suppliers to stakeholders. • Resolve Supplier Risks: Identify and address supplier risks and issues through detailed root-cause analysis. • Drive Continuous Improvement: Apply Six Sigma, lean methodologies, and other analytical tools. • Oversee Quality Activities: Manage First Article Verification, Source Inspection, supplier assessments, audits, and reviews. • Mitigate Risks and Support Program Objectives: Proactively resolve supplier risks and ensure alignment.
