Senior Product Engineer – AI Engagement
The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS)
• Design and build modular, flexible architecture to support rapid experimentation and user journey testing. • Develop and optimize engagement-driven features (e.g., smart onboarding, progress celebrations, contextual nudges). • Integrate lifecycle communication systems (in-app, push, SMS/email) in partnership with marketing. • Leverage analytics (PostHog or similar) to identify friction points and inform product iteration. • Collaborate with AI engineers to embed LLM-driven experiences into the platform. • Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize and ship improvements that drive user engagement. • Establish and share best practices for turning features into habit-forming experiences.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of engineering experience, ideally full stack.
- Proficiency with React/Next.js, TypeScript, APIs, and system architecture.
- Experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and behavioral analytics.
- Strong background in integrating third-party communication/marketing tools (e.g., Braze, Customer.io, Twilio).
- Familiarity with multi-service architecture (REST/GraphQL, event-driven systems).
- Bonus: experience with AI/LLM integration, PostgreSQL (Neon), PWAs, and chat/video platforms (Sendbird, Twilio).

Role Description We’re looking for a talented and versatile Senior Software Developer with strong experience in Python and React to join our team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of building and maintaining scalable web applications using modern technologies.
