• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing • Design and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios • Identify, log, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps • Conduct API testing (validation, authentication, edge cases) using Postman • Write, execute, and maintain automation test scripts using Cypress • Validate backend data using SQL queries • Use Git for version control (branching, commits, PR basics) • Work with shell/CLI tools for debugging and validation • Collaborate closely with developers and product teams in release cycles
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of QA experience in product-based / SaaS environments
- Strong expertise in manual testing fundamentals
- Hands-on experience in test automation (must-have)
- Writing and maintaining test scripts in Cypress (or similar JS-based frameworks)
- Understanding selectors, waits, assertions, and test structuring
- Strong experience in API testing using Postman
- Proficiency in SQL (joins, aggregations, data validation)
- Working knowledge of Git commands
- Basic understanding of shell scripting / CLI usage
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and status codes
- Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, ClickUp, etc.)
