Proposal Coordinator
KBR, Inc.
• Lead the administrative and organizational aspects of the proposal development process for federal, state, and local government opportunities. • Work closely with Capture Managers, Proposal Managers, and the Proposal Production Team to ensure compliance with Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements. • Analyze RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, and develop compliance matrices, annotated outlines, and structured templates. • Maintain strict document version control and ensure compliance throughout the proposal lifecycle. • Coordinate color team reviews (Pink, Red, Gold), production phases, and submission deadlines. • Contribute to and monitor proposal schedules to ensure workflows align with submission due dates. • Ensure adherence to page limits, template standards, branding requirements, and corporate document style guides. • Manage final quality checks, PDF optimization, and file naming conventions.
Job Requirements
- 4–6+ years of experience in proposal coordination, editing, or production within government contracting.
- Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and agency‑specific procurement requirements.
- Proficiency with proposal tools such as SharePoint, PMC, Deltek, GovWin, VisibleThread, and related systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, communication, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and support large, multi‑disciplinary proposal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- APMP Certification (Foundation or higher) preferred.
- Experience coordinating complex color team reviews and high‑volume proposal efforts preferred.
- Familiarity with federal and defense submission portals (e.g., GSA, DoD, DOE) preferred.
