K2/Nintex Developer – Full Stack Developer
Kaizen Analytix
• Support workflow enhancements and optimization within an established K2/Nintex environment • Work directly with client stakeholders, embed into existing implementation, and deliver targeted improvements, new automations, and integration enhancements • Review, analyze, and understand existing K2/Nintex workflows, SmartForms, SmartObjects, and logic • Reverse-engineer existing configurations when documentation is limited or outdated • Assess current-state integrations between K2/Nintex and upstream/downstream systems • Design and develop workflow enhancements, integrations, and new automation components • Build and optimize SmartObjects connected to SQL, REST/SOAP services, and Elite 3E data sources • Troubleshoot workflow errors, integration failures, and data exchange issues • Gather requirements and translate them into workflow/integration solutions • Provide guidance on governance, lifecycle management, and process improvement opportunities • Support system testing, UAT, release planning, and production deployments • Document workflow logic, integration points, and all changes implemented • Create technical specifications, workflow diagrams, and change logs • Provide training, knowledge transfer, and handoff materials as needed • Support provisioning and migration activities across Dev, UAT, and Prod environments • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve configuration issues and adjust environments when required
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software development
- 3–5+ years hands-on K2/Nintex development experience
- Strong working knowledge of integrations with: Elite 3E, Microsoft SQL Server, REST/SOAP web services, SharePoint or other ECM/CRM platforms
- Proficiency in building SmartObjects, SmartForms, workflows, and integration layers
- Strong understanding of workflow automation design patterns and exception handling
- Proficiency in SQL or related scripting languages for workflow customization
- Ability to quickly analyze and learn existing implementations with minimal documentation
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication skills with comfort interacting directly with clients
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs
- Strong documentation habits
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams (IT, finance, operations, vendors)
- Understanding of automation governance, lifecycle management, and version control
- Experience with Nintex Automation Cloud or modern workflow tools
- SharePoint development or administration experience
- Understanding of identity/authentication frameworks (AD, AAD, OAuth)
- Experience in law firm systems, professional services workflows, or legal finance processes preferred
- Exposure to RPA or related automation technologies is a plus
