Role Description The Regional Sales Manager I will be responsible for selling and promoting finance and insurance (F&I) products, increasing dealer engagement, and maximizing revenue opportunities within your assigned region. The ideal candidates will be based within 60 miles of the following cities in the South Central Region: - Dallas, TX - Houston, TX - San Antonio, TX - Oklahoma City, OK - Kansas City, MO Responsibilities: - Develop professional relationships with key dealership stakeholders to maximize engagement and deepen penetration with financing programs and back-end products. - Communicate rate sheet changes, program enhancements, and other information that will drive dealers' success with the program. - Build, communicate, and execute on F&I program goals and objectives for your region. - Identify, track, and report on dealer performance metrics to both internal and external stakeholders. - Maintain a high level of knowledge on OEM products, financing programs, back-end products for both Octane and its competitors. - Train OEM and dealer partners on the value proposition of the program including technical features and other value-added products. - Achieve stated goals on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis. - Complete monthly sales activities including dealer visits, phone calls, and emails. - Attend OEM events, dealer events, and industry events as required. - Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Qualifications - 2+ years of outside sales experience. - 3+ years of experience in the financing of consumer products. - F&I experience or experience in the powersports industry is preferred. Requirements - Candidates will need to reside within their assigned region. - This is a remote position with approximately 50% travel. - Flexible to work weekends and evenings as needed. - Ability to obtain a U.S. Passport and travel throughout North America as required. • Lead negotiations for all relationship issues, contract terms, pricing, and ad hoc projects. • Serve as the primary procurement and sourcing lead for any goods or services requested by Octane team members. • Review, redline, and negotiate contracts, SLAs, and SOWs to secure optimal business and legal terms for Octane. • Lead the full sourcing lifecycle for all company sourcing needs with primary focus on critical/high risk exposure. • Conduct spend analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify cost optimization and renegotiation opportunities. • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact and Relationship Owner for all Critical vendors and a portion of High Risk vendors. • Coordinate quarterly stewardship meetings, manage performance scorecards, and track KPIs to ensure high-risk partners meet contractual obligations. • Maintain the Issues & Escalations log, driving vendor-related problems from identification to final resolution. • Implement the ongoing review schedule and document all activities within the TPRM platform. • Drive the execution of required onboarding and formal termination procedures. • Partner with 1st and 2nd Line of Defense (Legal, InfoSec, Compliance) to ensure alignment with industry regulations. • Maintain accurate records within the vendor tracking system, including spend data, insurance certificates (COIs), and compliance certifications. • Develop and refine sourcing templates, SOPs, and playbooks to create a repeatable and defensible procurement process.
• Create and execute the auto retail financing GTM growth strategy and sales roadmaps to consistently achieve annual origination targets. • Identify, research, and secure high-value OEM, dealer group, and strategic partnerships, including leading sales and account management for Captive-as-a-service (CaaS) targets. • Expand existing partner relationships by driving the adoption of new credit programs, asset classes, and digital retailing opportunities. • Drive the strategy and execution for dealer activation, enrollment, and ongoing engagement. • Own and manage high-potential partnerships, leveraging sales and marketing tools to maximize program adoption. • Develop and deliver creative, data-driven, and customized sales presentations highlighting partnership benefits for target and existing accounts. • Design the sales team "flight formation" and strategy while actively mentoring and developing team members. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Credit Strategy, Product, Engineering, and Ops to evolve products based on market feedback and partner needs.
• Make multiple outbound calls to powersports dealerships, including cold calling. • Achieve monthly production, enrollment, and engagement goals. • Qualify leads from multiple sources including digital campaigns, conferences, dealership referrals, and trade shows • Create and maintain a database and/or CRM of current and prospective clients. • Resolve dealership issues within a timely manner to minimize the impact to the dealership and Octane. • Ability to seek advice/guidance on complex dealer issues and work to a resolution. • Work with the Director of Sales & Partnerships and teammates to create a daily workflow that will allow for on-time completion of daily/weekly/monthly tasks.
• Define and lead team OKRs that align with corporate objectives, translating a long-term vision into actionable, prioritized roadmaps. • Rigorously measure and report on key KPIs, specifically focusing on dealer conversion rates, application volume, and funding velocity. • Manage and advance deep integrations with dealer systems to ensure a frictionless, end-to-end loan origination flow. • Partner with Legal, Risk, and Credit Ops to navigate complex product eligibility logic, disclosures, and compliance requirements. • Work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, and Ops to build world-class experiences for Octane’s captive partners. • Gather direct insights from dealer stakeholders and internal teams through empathy interviews and support channels to drive continuous UX improvements. • Simultaneously oversee multiple in-flight projects, balancing external partner dependencies and legal timelines with internal engineering capacity. • Continuously optimize the dealer portal and consumer application flows to reduce friction and increase partner satisfaction.

• Serve as the marketing voice at the table across captive partner stakeholders, both internal and external, bringing a marketing lens to strategic conversations throughout the partnership lifecycle. • Develop white-labeled, multi-channel campaigns to drive adoption and engagement through Octane’s captive partnerships, ensuring all materials align with the partner’s brand identity. • Support captive partner onboarding from a marketing standpoint, including launch campaigns, welcome kits, and portal setup. • Ability to independently tackle projects from end to end, leveraging data and insights to inform strategy across multiple captive partner relationships simultaneously. • Work closely with the entire captive partnership team to hit quarterly sales and marketing targets. • Effective at tackling and balancing competing priorities across multiple captive partner programs. Adaptable when faced with change. Able to think critically to take projects to the finish line. • Demonstrable experience using AI tools to increase personal and team efficiency — from content development to campaign analysis — with a curiosity to keep pushing what's possible. • Write in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience — whether internal stakeholders, captive partner contacts, or end consumers under a partner’s brand. • Leverage data-driven insights to find opportunities for full-funnel engagement. • Manage time to meet deadlines or proactively communicate roadblocks, particularly when navigating approval processes across multiple partner organizations.
• Act as a dedicated individual contributor to manage the full lifecycle of your creative projects from concept to final production, across a wide range of marketing collateral (emails, print, sales decks, point-of-purchase, social, and digital assets) for multiple brands and channels. • Take an abstraction-first, solution-oriented approach to building reusable design templates that can be used for multiple brands. Your goal is to create scalable systems that make it easier and faster for our entire team to deliver on campaigns. • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Creative Managers, and Marketing Leads to develop visual solutions that drive product demand and engagement. • Experience with video editing, motion graphics, and an understanding of design-to-development handoffs; coding experience is a plus.
• Oversee the corporate credit card process end-to-end, from transaction review through reconciliation, proactively following up with employees and escalating issues to the Manager as needed. • Ensure all invoices are submitted and processed in Ramp, accurately classified, approved, and paid timely; escalate questions or exceptions to the Manager. • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations for Accounts Payable, Leases, Fixed Assets, Prepaids, Credit Cards, T&E, Payroll, and Accruals. • Analyze and explain significant month-over-month cash variances in partnership with the Accounting and FP&A teams. • Collaborate with the Staff Accountant to review work, complete assigned tasks, and resolve open or aging items. • Monitor and evaluate accounting and expense workflows, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and control. • Communicate outstanding expense and invoice items to the AP team and ensure transactions are recorded timely to support accurate bank reconciliations. • Support general ledger coding and classification, working closely with the FP&A team to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
• Partner closely with engineering leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and shape long-term technical strategy. • Design and architect high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software systems with a holistic view spanning user interfaces, backend services, and infrastructure. • Write high-quality, production-ready code to deliver mission-critical systems, resolve defects, lead design discussions, and conduct thorough code reviews. • Establish and promote coding standards, best practices, and design patterns while mentoring engineers to write clean, effective code and amplifying overall team output. • Develop deep expertise in the business domain to ensure technical solutions fully align with and satisfy business requirements. • Validate application functionality by designing and implementing automated testing strategies to prevent regressions and ensure long-term reliability. • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product partners, and business stakeholders to continuously improve products and platforms. • Drive improvements in engineering efficiency through the adoption of modern tools, automation, and AI-enabled development platforms. • Break down ambiguous and complex problems into clear, actionable solutions that reduce time to implementation while ensuring the right outcomes are delivered.
