Senior HR Generalist, Benefits and Leave Management Specialist
MGT
• Manage and administer comprehensive benefits programs while ensuring adherence to leave policies and regulations • Administer and manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other ancillary benefits • Assist with new hire benefit office hours and enrollment process • Maintain and assist with the creation of benefit resources • Oversee and maintain benefits knowledge base • Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment process • Serve as the subject matter expert for employees with benefit-related inquiries • Maintain accurate records of employee benefits • Ensure weekly interfaces are sent and received by the vendor • Collaborate with benefits vendors and consultants to resolve issues • Lead and manage implementation of new benefit programs • Administer employee leave and accommodation cases • Create and deliver training and communication materials on leave policies and procedures • Act as primary point of contact for employees, managers, HR partners and our third-party leave administrator • Monitor and track leave usage and ensure accurate documentation
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent industry specific experience)
- Five (5) years of experience in benefits administration and leave management
- Strong understanding of various US benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs
- Strong knowledge of US federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits and leave policies
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Flexible and adaptable to changing activities, workloads and timelines
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced Excel skills preferred

Responsibilities 75% - Customer Service - Answer incoming inquiries with on-the-spot problem solving, critical thinking, and empathy in adherence with AskHR protocol and service standards. • Serve as the first point of contact for customers and supported employees, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner while meeting SLAs. • Provide accurate information on Pebl services, HR processes, and operational procedures using a customer-first approach. • Resolve issues efficiently, escalating when necessary while maintaining ownership through resolution. • Build strong relationships through clear, empathetic, and professional communication. • Own end-to-end HR support for the Korea entity, focusing on day-to-day operations, employee inquiries, and compliance-related requests. • Act as the Market Lead and SME for Korea, ensuring accurate guidance on local employment practices, labor regulations, and operational requirements. • Support HR operations outside of Korea as needed, flexing to global priorities and business needs. • Manage and resolve HR support tickets for Korea and global markets, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent service. • Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and drive effective resolutions. • Maintain high-quality case documentation within CRM and support platforms. • Monitor and maintain customer satisfaction metrics, proactively improving service quality and outcomes. • Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, documentation, and overall customer experience. • Create and maintain internal documentation and self-service resources to reduce repeat inquiries and support scalability.
