Job Description

Compliance Specialist, E-commerce

- Through the use of company and department practices and procedures, researches laws and regulations related to advertising, labeling, and selling consumer goods in interstate commerce, including FDA and EPA regulations - Efficiently manages daily deliverables across multiple clients and categories, meeting accuracy, efficiency, quality control, and brand standards - Opens and manages new cases with Amazon Seller Support to resolve compliance issues - Follows standard practices and procedures to determine the best response to seller account issues - Discusses issues and solutions with the manager to ensure alignment with client and company requirements - Analyzes federal and state legislation, regulations, and policies, and provides actionable guidance to ensure compliance - Communicates legal requirements in a concise manner to ensure all stakeholders’ understanding of requirements - Under manager supervision, drafts Amazon appeals, Plans of Action, and other documents to resolve compliance issues - Works with internal departments to resolve compliance issues and develop strategies for preventing future cases - Acts as a key point of contact for managing and addressing daily requests from internal departments and company clients - Maintains communication with the brand management team and department managers, researches regulatory requirements, and implements proactive measures to ensure the company and clients remain compliant - Stays updated on Amazon policies and legal requirements to enhance skills and expertise - Assists manager by gathering, tracking, managing, and preparing documents for compliance investigations - Maintains or exceeds department-established performance standards - Continues to learn and apply department Trainual subjects according to standards - Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Up to two (2) years of experience in the regulatory or compliance field. eCommerce or digital content experience preferred
  • Effectively communicates basic regulatory matters with clarity
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret compliance and regulatory language
  • Safeguards confidential information and uses sound business judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or similar software
  • Good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
