Senior Staff Accountant

• Accurately record day-to-day banking and credit card transactions in financial books. • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that financial records match bank statements. • Record bills and invoices, and ensure they are processed promptly. • Enter general journal entries as needed to capture any financial transactions. • Reconcile vendor and customer statements to ensure our records align with external statements. • Record month-end accruals accurately to reflect outstanding expenses or revenues. • Assist in recording and processing payroll transactions. • Prepare and maintain prepaid expense schedules. • Maintain an up-to-date fixed assets register. • Reconcile inventory records with physical counts. • Generate 1099 data for review.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting preferably with US clients.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with QuickBooks or other similar accounting software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Flexible to work Shift hours 6 PM - 3 AM Pakistan time
